I'm not a big hip-hop head (I have some of my faves, and performers; but it's not my most traveled lane), but the remix lyrically - "if you didn't know, now you know" - fits a base level "more than meets the eye" framing. However, like any other trailer music - this probably won't be in the final movie and is just there to appeal to people familiar with the song. Here's a neat little write-up on the trailer making industry.

Didn't Bee switch to Camaro form during the ending of Bumblebee? I haven't watched it since the theatrical release. If they even bother, they may pull the "That was Wheeljack's Cybertronian form" card to write off the new appearance.

Predacons may be withheld from trailers, or teased for a sequel. I don't believe Hollywood is that hollow headed as to leave something so obvious on the floor, although this is the same industry that bungled two Superman reboots. Let's hope Transformers fans receive a little more respect than DC fans.

where did the car go  

 

I’ve watched it several times and am still confused as well. The transformation seems to cheat way more than I thought. Car kinda just warps and disappears with parts spawning in.

I can’t tell if the tail lights are in his chest, his legs, or his butt plates either. They’re all red.

 

From what I remember it’s for SS so it’s be easier for people who missed out on the mold to get him

I think chest and legs. I doubt the red bits on his are anything besides details.

But now you'll ask why did they decide to put car components such as tail lights in both his chest and his knees. This shit makes Crosshairs and Drift look simple.

 

You blind? He's got the car lights on his tits and thighs. The rest is just the car used as armor plating.

 

Kind of late to posting this because of preparing for end of semester finals. I wasn't really sure what to expect from this movie based on the information we had been told before the trailer dropped. After watching the trailer, I am excited to see this movie when it comes out. I really like how the focus was on the robots and not the human characters. Overall, I think the robot designs look nice, and will look better in the final CGI. However, I must say that I am not a fan of a "G1-ish" Optimus without a facemask. Also, I wish they kept Optimus' rifle from the BB movie or make his integrated gun look more like the one from the TFP design and not just BB Dropkicks gun (see comparison below). I think the maximals look nice and I look forward to seeing better views of their robot modes. For the deceptions/terrorcons, I hope that they are given enough screen time for some character development.

Wait he has the middle part of the taillights on his back too. So he has them on his back, chest, and legs. I’m so confused with the random part’s distribution in mirage  .

 

maybe he split the rear lights from the corner? One third on his booty plates and other remaining two thirds on his thighs.
