I could almost see that. Add an engine on the hood/chest, spoiler on the back of the car (need some way for it to move up to his back in bot mode), and exhaust pipes on the car side panels and bot arms.
Only thing missing then would be the shoulder vents, and I'm not sure Sideswipe's shoulders could be remolded to include them because of the way the shoulder joint works.

 

I dunno if Blitzwing is gonna get a new figure since the Titans version is pretty good already. Astrotrain also seriously looks like a Titans Optimus/Octone retool.

 

The spoiler looks like it would be disconnected and probably plugged into his back.

Mind you, there's another Transformer out there that features a removable spoiler that you can use as a weapon.

 

Honestly, sideswipe has pretty much nothing in common with either of those two

But they also just made a Astrotrain, I can totally see a voyager/ Voyager with bits as a leader in the next siege line.

They seem to be doing All the G1 characters in the new Cybertron style. I can’t imagine that such a popular character as Blitzwing would be excluded, unless he’s in year three.

 

Come on, I don't serously want Siege to last the whole 3-5 years on its own. Remember, we are here to find out what is the next chapter's name and what's in store.

 

They’ve already said it’s a trilogy, so next year and the year after will still be Cybertron based.

If they aren’t doing a new Prime, Megatron, ect, It Has to be the remaining Season one and two cartoon cast with a few later and Japanese characters.

Par for the course with some of the repaint/remold "ideas" we've seen in this thread. It's almost as bad as that guy that said basically ANY vehicle mode TF could be repainted into G1 Ironhide.

 

I remember seeing a digibash of Ironhide from CW First Aid, long before Hasbro went with the Offroad car/truck base. Inevitably, we got Ratchet from the said First Aid base. How's that for a fact? I've seen so many wasted ideas that are made into digibashes, while some, had came true out of the blue.

Point blank, some of these genius remold/repaint ideas in this thread are flat out stupid. It'd be no different than saying something like "WFC Hound into Jazz". On no level does that work other than the unifying factor of "comprised of plastic".
