    What I want:
    Leader: Roadbuster
    Commander: Lugnut
    Titan: Scorponok or Tidal Wave

    What I expect:
    Leader: Rodimus Prime
    Commander: Sky Lynx
    Titan: Scorponok

You know what, I was thinking Voyager Lugnut, but a commander would actually work extremely well. Here's to false hope!

A proper Lugnut would have to be Leader or Commander.

I’d love some combining cassettes. I wish Slamdance was actually a pair of cassettes and not a cheap redeco. But Squawkbox would go over well I think if they do it right. With Hasbro’s micromaster packs it seems like an obvious decision.

    Go all out:
    Squawkbox - Beastbox + Squawktalk
Slamdance - Grand Slam + Raindance
    Legout - Dile + Zaur
    Decibel - Noise + Graphy
and then, because the Autobts outnumber the Decepticons with cassette combiners, make a new one too:
    Killfest - Slugfest + Overkill

So @catz claimed that the Commander compliments Omega Supreme...?

I haven't watched Animated, but I heard about a scene where Lugnut controls three Guardian robots(Omega Supreme repaints) that apparently looked like him. Imagine if Omega Supreme's chest cavity is Lugnut-shaped after removing the tank.

...but what are the odds? =/

Soooo... Leader Bulkhead, Commander Lugnut, Titan Sky Lynx? Sure why not kill my wallet next year too!

Wait...isn't that exactly what I asked for?

Sounds like my dream lineup as well.

Isn't it strange that things like that lineup are actually plausible nowadays? It's such a great time to be a TF collector.

I agree with you that Doubledealer would be in scale, but they would probably throw something else in the box to fill out the price point. At this point, size of the character and size class are two totally different things.

I like these characters in this scale.
Even though Sky Lynx nickname is "Commander Modesty" I think Commander class is small for him. He is two separate vehicles, so his shuttle mode might be the same size as Jet Fire. Also he should be in scale with Predaking, which was also a Titan

I talked to John Warden at SDCC and I told him that I wanted them to make Sky Lynx properly and that it would probably require a Titan size figure to do him justice, but that I was willing to take a Commander size if they felt they could only do him in the smaller size. He told me that Sky Lynx was always mass shifting in the cartoon, which meant he could fit either class. I told him that I am sure they are looking into making a proper Sky Lynx since the Combiner Wars version was most likely a market-test figure on the character before they invested more money and time into a releasing a more accurate figure in the future. He said we'll just have to wait and see what happens. He also agreed with me that they want to release an accurate Doubledealer because he loved the G1 figure, when I told him I am waiting for them to release an accurate Doubledealer that had it's own new mold instead of being redeco'd from another figure. It was a quick chat since he had to run, but hopefully it helps get them feedback for what we want in a Sky Lynx and a Doubledealer.

That's great feedback on Sky Lynx and Doubledealer. I hope we see both soon!

Yeah that’s some good info. I would love a leader Doubledealer that could be retooled into CD Red Alert, G1 Stalker, and MW Soundwave. Easy way to get me to part with $200...

Hell they could even do BW Megatron too to homage the Botcon one.

Agreed Sky Lynx should be a titan scale and must be in scale with all the other G1 Combiners.

As per John mentioned Sky Lynx was always mass shifting, I really dont remember he ever did that. Unless he got confused of the G1 toon drawing inconsistency. Otherwise my boy UM from the episode Carnage Minor C is also mass shifting, see below. Now I demand a titan scale for UM, lol.

I could potentially see a Deszaras retool from Doubledealer as well!

Basically, my point is sell me ALL the space chickens!

Wouldn't Deathsaurus be a lot taller than Doubledealer though? (I didn't get to those characters in JG1 yet)

    He is.

The Doubledealer feedback is great to hear! I do suspect this means we won’t see him next year though. Perhaps the year after. I don’t see a figure potentially as large as a leader getting retooled into so many “obscure” characters. Most of the easy retools are deluxes.

I didn't expect to see leader TR Overlord remolded into Black Shadow. So you never know!
