Not sure if anyone else posted/noticed this but the first rumor list came from a guys facebook page, which he must have added some time latter, to the bottom of the list to include more seekers (rainmakers 3)

 

People didn't get why I wanted another Dreadwind and Darkwing it's because I want a proper Powermasters versions.I am very excited for SDCC.why can't people be happy instead of being aholes to one another.

 

So far the only thing I'm interested in is Nightbird. The rest is extremely boring & I definitely won't be wasting my money on any of it.

I'm sure this list will have a lot of people going on about how siege is the best thing ever as usual.
But seriously: Oh My God! What a dissapointing group.
A powerdasher who is a repaint of Brunt? Really?! That mold fits none of the Powerdashers. Alright maybe Zetar if he is heavily retooled. But it's not, it's just a repaint.
It's nice to get another UT figure, and we knew about this beforehand. But anyone but Hot Shot would have been more interesting.
The Micromasters ten-pack is cool.
But the rest of the list is just plain boring.
A cheap Decepticon Impactor repaint instead of Scoop, or Needlenose, or Runamuck, or Slapdash, or anyone?

 

A leader armored car? What could that be?

 

I think you may have nailed it! Nothing smaller than Leader size for Bulky.

I predict Titan Scorponok, Commander-sized Sky Lynx, and Leader-sized Bulkhead.

The armored car could be Cybertron-Defense Red Alert, or... Pre-Beast Wars Megatron?

Or possibly a War For Cybertron (comic) Grimlock?

 

Could the armored car perhaps be Thunderclash?! That’s who I am hoping it is at least

I’d like to see a slight retool and repaint of the Hound mold as Crankcase. It’s an easy job - new head, new bumper, add a turret to his roof, paint blue - and would work very nicely.

 

what if the "armored car" is a Galaxy Upgrade Megatron, and the leader-class bits are the actual "Armor of Unicron" the Cybertron dub invented???

I could see that. I suggested something similar in the Speculation thread, especially having had Galaxy Prime. Though I imagine they wouldn't call it the Unicron Armour given this is broadly following G1 and they don't know about Unicron yet but of course it can just be Cybertronian armour or something.

IMO Dreadwind and Darkwing fall into the category of deserving new toys due to their previous ones being rather poorly executed, specifically their whole combining with each other gimmick. Without third party upgrades it relied on a single 5mm peg and was very flimsy. Having seen what was done for Battleslash and Skytread/Slamdance and how solid their connection peg works a new pair of toys to form Dreadwing using that style of connector would be perfect!

 

I gotta say the Brunt redeco as Powerdasher is disappointing--maybe I'll be surprised, but I don't get the thought process there. I was looking forward to some decent Powerdashers, since this seems like the only time we'll ever get them (even if just redecos with new heads, I can think of many better molds).

Unlikely, but I want the Commander Class to be the Last Autobot (could even work as a Jetfire retool)--Big Red a close second:



Titan Skorponok seems the most obvious, but I wouldn't mind a Halonix Maximus to go up against Devy.

 

Armored car leader huh... Maybe Armada Overload, or Roadbuster both would fit the theme. If it\'s Overload a leader class weaponizer would be an interesting gimmick for the next line

 

Personally, I think the titan class will be scorponok and the commander class will be one of those evolution figures, like POTP Rodimus and Siege Ultra magnus. Could be a evolution Galvatron (hopefully).. And the rest, well, I don\'t really care for a hot shot or lancer, and how can they make Powerdasher from brunt? Brunt, well, he\'s brunt. G1 Powerdasher was a weirdly shaped dude. I also dont get how they would recolour Impactor .And that \"armored car\" leader, could that mean *gasps* an Animated Lockdown!?

 

An Ironhide repaint of Brunt would have been a better fit. Ironhide is bulky.
