You know a lot of kids who ask their parents on advice for what toys they should play with?
Parents may have the money, but kids choose the toy.

I thought Ironhide and Sideswipe were to scale?  I guess not then.

I genuinely, and un-cynically, like your optimism!

The way I’m treating Hasbro now, & this is not at all an insult but something I’ve realised, is that I genuinely believe they want to give us all those more ‘obscure’ characters like Spinister, Triggerhappy & Apeface but know their main bread & butter is Optimus, Starscream etc, so try & balance the two out & get the best of both worlds.

Kinda weird analogy, but I liken it to how Bon Jovi always want to do new, different material but their record label knows it’s mainly the old hits that sell. So they’ve both reached a compromise where if the band agree to a new greatest hits album or remix or acoustic version of their classics then the record label says no problem, now we’ll finance that weird concept album you want to do.

So with Hasbro I’m actually fine with them doing more versions of Optimus, Megatron etc so long as I know it’s helping to fund more obscure characters further down the line. I was a little disheartened there was so many early G1 characters at the start of Siege, but as it’s gone on we’ve seen more and more variety.

Yeah. I'm glad there are more characters from the later years of G1 in siege now.

Personally I'd compare Optimus Starscream Bumblebee etc to Ian Curtis. And the other Transformers to New Order :lol
They are a fine group with the first guys involved, but they are just as great without them.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'd want to see all the Combiner teams themselves in scale with everyone. Especially the G1 Predacons.

    They're not repaints or retools.

I want scout sized Spark Armor vehicles that would be designed to fit larger toys sold separately. And the vehicles would be based upon the Action Master vehicles, and would be able to be piloted by humanoid Micromasters and Battle Masters. They work the same way as the Spark Armor vehicles do in Cyberverse but are designed to be best compatible with specific molds. Turbo Jet would work best with Starscream but is functional with others. And by collecting any three Spark Armor vehicles, you can form a Spark Armor robot mode by themselves.

So what series of characters are they trying to do exactly because this lineup of SIEGE G1 characters were really short and random.

Are they just aiming for a do-over towards the 3 season G1 cast???

There’s over 70 individual numbered releases between siege proper and generations selects, how is that short for a 1 year line?

I'm presuming we'll have more information at New York Comic Con 2019?

I was under the impression that it's a total and complete do-over, considering Siege's similarity to Studio Series and its own relationship with the live-action side of the franchise.

Probably. It's in less than a month too. Maybe 3-ish weeks?

Considering that G1 Micromasters *alone* were like 132 over two years, not even including *any* of the rest of the '89 and '90 lines...

I hope we get a siege Rodimus. I love my TR Hotrod but I hate the headmaster gimmick
