Whoops, sorry. Damned autocorrect. I meant skywarp. I only text on phone.
I know I was joking lol no worries I mess up myself sometimes
Indeed it is.
I'm really hoping we do get Coneheads in Armageddon. And Trailbreaker/Hoist. Grapple too.
A question for those versed in all things Micromasters: After Siege, how many are still left to be given updates?
the other halves of the patrols, the combiners, the ones with trailers, the ones with bases, probably more
I have a list somewhere, I'll edit my response ASAP when I find it.
I'll be pissed if star saber / victory leo don't show up. Along with God ginrei they were the ORIGINAL 'weaponizers'...
Love to see a Voyager Weaponiser or a leader see what they could do with a bigger budget figure basically
See my post above yours, lol ;p
The problem is the Target 12 packs. It means they likely have no plans to distribute those characters otherwise, and I think one is a half of a duo combiner and one is a member of Sixturbo.
We've gotten 13 of the original '89 Micromaster Patrols with 11 still to go. All 24 members of the 1990 patrols to go. 21 individuals of the Micromaster Combiners(22 if you count Wheel Blaze getting his gimmick back eventually). All 4 transports, all 6 Combiner transport characters(3 pairs of 2), 2 of the MM stations(Greasepit & Hot House), Skystalker, Blackout & Spaceshot, Bull-Barrel & Overflow, all Sixteams(though Road-Police was in the 10-pack, he's non-combining there), Hot Rod(came with Star Convoy), Spinner, Sonic, Speeder, Drillbuster, and Shotbomber.
'89 patrols = 11
'90 patrols = 24
Combiners = 21-22
Transports = 10
Stations = 7
Sixteams = 30
Misc = 6
So not including any Mini-cons labeled "Micromaster", we're looking at roughly 103 Micromaster characters yet to be updated. :<
At least 132, counting Japanese releases.
Muchly appreciate the replies all.
Siege has about 25 or so, bolstered by that 10-pack, so there's still 4+ lines worth out there.
Do you feel the Legends-sized figures (Bumblebee, Tailgate etc) would return before then though?
If anything, I think the 10-pack and some of the character selection from it was a pretty good indicator that Hasbro isn't likely planning to be able to update each and every Micromaster. So I'd say Legends returning before then is almost certain.
Yes I do. It'll probably be another class released alongside the rest like Commander instead of replacing any existing classes. A unified-scale line of robots of many different sizes necessitates as much diversity between size classes as possible, after all. I predict that the class will run $12-15 if not the same price as Micromasters.
Also, keep in mind that cassetticons will increase the amount of possible Micromaster releases by a lot.
Probably while we get the remaining Micros that really need attention. I must say we need a helicopter based Micro, maybe Blaze Master to pair with Tread Bolt. Must say we could get a 4-piece Star Saber for that matter. And a Soundwave patrol with Frenzy and Buzzsaw.
I don't know other possible candidates for the next set of Micros, and 'biners will be in the mix as well.
Don't forget Blaster and his Autobot cassette minions...
If we're going to assume "every sculpt reused" Tote and Fixit can share, as can Blaze Master and Tracer. I'd expect Dropshot to get skipped since one of the 10-Pack new bots has his colors, or maybe be done as a Topshot redeco. We don't really have any good fits for Bombshock (tank) or Growl (light scout car). Tread Bolt would have to be a new sculpt, I'd expect Warden or his "office wife" What'shername to cheapass the Autobot Air Patrol with two more redecoes of existing plane sculpts.
Power Bomb from the 10-pack has Bombshock's head, so presumably well get him as a third use of the Flak mold. I hope we get Tracer as his partner. Gives us a helicopter mold, and I just like him.
Separate names with a comma.
