I hope for Sky Lynx will be perfect.

 

Quintessons...*drools* I’ve been waiting over a decade for more Quintessons. I’ll take all of the Quintessons Hasbro is willing to make.

Quintessa is probably an Ironworks-esque Modulator that changes from robot (probably one of the bailiffs or scientists) to base. Whatever this is, I’m really looking forward to it. It would have been nice to see these in Part 3, but I’m not complaining. Earthrise seems to be the part of WFC where the Autobots and Decepticons have left Cybertron and are flying through space, fighting on other planets before they land on Earth (which I presume will happen in Part 3).

Sky Lynx is very much something I want. Wasn’t a fan of the CW design and its combined form, so this will do nicely.

If Runamuck is coming, we’ll probably get Runabout in a later wave or as a Selects release.

 

That line still cracks me up. If I'm ever on that episode I replay it over and over.

Ya, we’re definitely gonna have to agree to disagree. I don’t agree with your marketing assessment at all. He definitely does not have the Dino appeal something like the dinobots have and I have a hard time believing his design would appeal to kids. And no, the only resemblance to a dragon that he has is the silhouette, the bird head and other attributes don’t give a dragon impression at all.

Even with with him showing up in some of my favorite episodes, I didn’t give a crap about sky-lynx as a kid. I only care about owning him now, as an adult. Without a normal robot mode I found him incredibly boring, and without his personality I wouldn’t have cared at all.

On the other hand, I would have been absolutely begging for star saber if he had released when I was four of five.

 

mmmh I totally forgot that were supposed to be a third faction in this line. Maybe the mercenaries works for the Quintessons, similar to the Decepticons of TLK?

 

No interest in Skylynx as a titan class--just too big for what I'd want. Commander class will be perfectly fine for me. And if people are trying to play him off versus the Titan Predaking, that thing was too big anyway (though I get the issue if that's the one you have).

A voyager Quintesson that's all of four moving tentacles and a rotating face-section....I don't know if that meets the value of that price-class to me. Have to hold one in hand to know, of course, but likely a pass until I could find it on discount later.

Now. I'd love more info on this possible MPM Ratchet. If it's anywhere near the size range of MPM Ironhide (as it should be), I think I'd love to get one just to put in my classics collection. Even with that aside, having a possibly new 'large' movie Ratchet would be awesome. They never bothered giving him anything in the voyager size after his first toy. All deluxes after that. I want to know more, and hopefully he isn't the mess that Ironhide was.

 

In order to profit, the product MUST have wide appeal.

 

If Sky Lynx is the next commander, then who could the next titan possibly be?

I'm hoping for Tidal Wave, but that seems incredibly unlikely.

But it does seem like we're running low on Titan options, at this point!   I suppose it's inevitable that we get a re-color (Omega Sentinel, Black Zarak, etc.), but I suppose it's equally possible that Hasbro try to create something new and G1-ish?  

Oh, and hey, they could always do a Planet Cybertron/Primus Titan. Yawn. I'd be more interested in a Titan Unicron - something affordable for those of us who have adult responsibilities and bills!  

Wow, Hasbro is almost done with the major Titan characters, though.

Can't wait for sky lynx! My favorite autobot toy as a kid. Cw was too small and I wasn't a fan of mmc's at all. Excited for this and scorponok as well. Will they finally make him the same height as fort max?

 

There are still PLENTY of TF characters that fit the Titan Class especially in the Japanese continuity, in terms of G1 USA Cartoon, its done.

 

I'm not keen on Hasbro milking the G1 brand to DEATH.   Err, beating it to death?

They can't do another Metroplex so soon!   On the other hand, they could do a new mold if they did a new color - i.e. Metrotitan!
