From what I've seen, CrazyDevy's other stuff looks pretty good (I'm particularly tempted by his Superion LED head and articulated Devastator thighs), but your Rumble/Frenzy piledrivers look much better in comparison. I still look forward to picking up one each in blue and red.

2/19/2010 - I just won a Frenzy (blue one) on eBay last night, so I really want to pick up both pair now! lol

There are KO's floating around already? Also how much does the set cost if I preorder it directly?

They aren't KOs technically. What has happened is another company has the same idea (making custom hammers for rumble/frenzy). So they are not KOs, because they have not reproed Maiden Japan's design. They are a separate different design.

Both designs likely have different pros and cons -- it just seems that many of the people who've visited this thread find Maiden's more visually appealing.

It's the same story with the half-dozen or so people who've attacked the energon cube problem. I own 6 of Impossible Toys' lighted cubes, I just signed up to buy another 24 "energy cubes" from C. Wallace, and there are other cube ideas I've checked out, hoping to find what suits my G1-based needs. (Still want to know how I can recreate the scene in Fire in the Sky, where Megatron throws one upside Starscream's head.)

I have to disagree with the above statement. First let me say I am a fan of the Devastator pieces CD did...they are AMAZING!!!!

But there are no cons to MAIDENs set other than he is limiting them to only 100 sets.....list any others if you would like.

CD's look very rushed, horrible sculpting for details, paint apps are horrible and the size is WAY off. The head they include also looks very poorly scuplted/painted, thus far. The only pro that might arise is the # CD will produce, but if the overall quality is off, then that really doesnt matter. Also with the typically Higher price of CD pieces, that wont help them either.

I didnt mind paying the high cost for the G1 Devastator pieces as they are all AMAZING, not the case with their piledrivers.

If you have to own a Piledriver set, MAIDEN JAPAN's are a win by a long shot.
