I just got a desktop M3D Printer, and one of my test prints is this: Wuggh! Maybe picking translucent red was a bad idea for my first print spool. Doesn't phoograph well. Here comes the photoshop to help: There we go. It's a 4" modern-scale figure stand, with modern Joe/Boss Fight foot pegs. I made it hexagonal so it could be tiled out with future stands to make terrain/mini playsets. This is the prototype, I am going to experiment with joiners/fasteners and raised platforms soon.
Update: This is the direction I'm going for a standardized hex design. 3mm ports lock onto small clips (printed separately) allowing you to link the different hexes. Each hex/terrain piece will be available in several versions, each for a different foot-peg sizes. Each hex is 50mm (roughy 2 inches), flat-side to flat-side, and 3mm tall.
