as i said in my trans am prime thread i bought the RTS battle in space two-pack mainly for rodimus and i was gonna sell cyclonus, but once i opened the package and looked him over i got instantly hooked and decided to keep the guy for two reasons, 1: cyclonus was one of my favorite decepticons in the original movie and transformers armada, and 2. HE'S AWESOME! i know many who'd agree the first minor mod is for his feet to fold all the way into his legs, there's a small line of plastic in each leg in the front half that keeps the front of his feet from folding in all the way, i highlighted where they are so if you decide to x-acto knife them like i did it'll be that much easier, the second its not really a mod as it is a preference, i was looking at nightstick last night in gun mode and i realized, the rectangle peg in nightsticks lower back (also highlighted) can peg into cyclonus's thrusters in his forearms! i personally like the look of that over his holding the gun better. for paint touch-ups i gave cyclonus's thighs, hands and inner wrists, back feet, and upper arms a shade of what i call "metal cotton candy" (seriously guys look at it lol) i made the color to accent cyclonus's two shades of purple as well as make him more cartoon accurate, i left his face and in-side of his collar area silver cause i like the look of it, nothing major was done to nightstick except for an orange face like his G1 toy and cartoon character model. comments welcome =)
Mine can do that without mods. And Nightstick plugging into the thruster has been known for a while I like the metal cotton candy, though!
I like the subtle touches you've made here to these two. Nice work! As for not knowing about that stuff, it's all good--I don't keep up with instructions and usually don't know half the "cool" junk with these toys. I just transform them how I like them (even if it's not 100% correct), paint/touch up, and display. lol
It's really cool of you to tell people about this stuff. Bad news #2 though is that you can fold his feet all the way like that without cutting anything. I just double checked. That tab doesn't block the front toe from folding flat in. So unfortunately this mod does nothing. I'm really sorry for being the bearer of bad news.
