Does TF-Direct have a window time to pay the remaining amount? Like other overseas retail sites? I know Terry's and showZ has like a two week window.

 

Also just got the invoice and what I don't get about TFdirect,is there a way to use the Promo/Coupon that keeps popping up on my screen for May??

I see if I checkout regularly,there's a box for Codes/Promo but on the PayPal PO Invoice there is none.

 

It says on their pre-order FAQ page that you have 15 days to pay it off.

Shit, I forgot about the coupon code.... But then again they sent a paypal invoice through my e-mail so it may not have been able to be used.

 

Yea the Coupon/Promo I just checked is only for $3 off,I mean it's better than nothing and if I can knock off the price even more might as well lol.

Unfortunately though like I said on my previous post,there's no Box for a Code/Coupon on the PayPal invoice. I wish they would be like ShowZ where I can just go to my account and pay it off from there than this PayPal invoice which I'm sure is legit but slightly sketchy lol

 

I too received an invoice to pay the balance. Though I'm having second thoughts after learning that they only received a small portion of their MH-01 Hurricane stock, and didn't bother to mention this publicly. According to them I could be waiting several more weeks before even my MH-01 Hurricane ships...

 

TF-D invoice is paid. It’s a bit more than I was hoping it’d be but still not bad so still worth it to me. Looking forward to experiencing this figure for myself.

I just saw this posted on that Chinese TF board. I'm sure Chrome's translate isn't translating perfectly but it sounds like this person is having issues with the KO Thomas.

 

Sounds like the problem is FT’s transformation more than anything else.

I have two of this KO on pre-order and was torn between keeping them and cancelling in favour of the MH KO.
Reading through that review on Baidu, it's ranking this KO better quality than MH's Cylconus KO?

With this released now, and that positive review, I think I'll just pay off the TaoBao order for and get this one. I really don't think I need the extras in the MH one.

 

I bought one just for fun. I already have ft Thomas who will just sit in my display case, but I'm willing to mess with this one for a bit.. All just for fun.

Just got my e-ail from TF-Direct that they shipped my Thomas out. Hopefully there are no hiccups like with my Quietus KO being stuck.

I don't understand the audio commentary so I'm really not sure how useful that video is to me. A big chunk of this video was on the transformation, which isn't that important because it's going to be identical to the original. Everything seemed pretty solid and tight though- no parts flopping around loosely while transforming, apart from the big chunk of shuttle exhaust flopping around a bit during transformation (and that's not unexpected given it's on the end of a diecast armature) On the whole, everything seemed really tight.
Paint apps all looked fine, he didn't do much articulation or joint movement to test how tight they were but it held an A stance while he was waving it around showing off the back, so I'm calling that good as well. Everything seemed to peg in reasonably well aside from some smallish gaps in top of shuttle and train mode - and no way to know if that's an issue with the KO or a mistake in transformation.

The one thing that stood out from the written review I saw on Baidu was something about a "loose fart cover" (which I assume is Google Translate tomfoolery for floppy butt flap? ) but that part seemed fine?

 

Also received a shipping notification, but let's face it; that doesn't mean diddly-squat. Usually all that is an indication of is that a tracking number has been generated, and a label likely slapped on a box.

 

I know. I don't expect any movement until next week.
