It all depends on how good of a copy this KO is, there is a little tolerance so there is a good possibility it will fit just fine. Iacon 3D Labs will be attending NJCC later this month, they'll probably be cleaned out of stock at that show.

Oh! I hadn't even noticed.... I don't think it will be an issue honestly. It will make for an easy tell on KO vs authentic though.

 

Yea I just saw on the video too. Well... looks like I know who will be in SW/AW chest lol. Still though I'm annoyed we're get Frenzy instead of Rumble.

 

1. He introduces the figure and says he's been messing with it for a few days. The materials are great, but there are some issues with the joints and accessories.
2. He's never played with the original version from FT, but he's heard good things about it.
3. The alt-mode looks and feels good. He believes whatever materials FT uses, they also used something similar. These are just my thoughts, but he says he's never played with the original, I don't see how he would know. So grain of salt and all that.
4. He shows off the cassette gimmick. It comes with 3 tapes.
5. He says the paint's also pretty good, but he spotted some paint chipping I think. I'm not 100% sure what he's saying but there is some minor blemish with the paint. He says he's heard similar issues with the original. The rest of the stuff looks great such as the gold accents on the chest.
6. The figure pegs together well, but his backpack doesn't quite peg together as tightly as he would like. He also gets out the ruler for a quick measure.
7. The transformation is pretty self-explanatory. He does point out a couple of steps are a bit tight. Mainly the part where you pull up the body from the hips and flipping the hands out.
8. The robot mode looks very good. Then he shows off the accessories. He says the transformation from the battery to the gun (not the shoulder cannon) is a bit tight.
9. The articulation is also self-explanatory for the most part. He does say the ab crunch is a little loose on his copy. The ratchets sound very crisp. The hips are pretty good, but the weight of the legs is a bit much for those ratchets. They're not the worse though since it requires a lot of shaking to get them to come down.
10. He shows off the other accessories. He demonstrates changing between toon and toy aesthetics. Some of the parts are really tight so changing some panels can be difficult. He doesn't like the toy head, so he won't be demonstrating the switch for that.
11. He shows off Ravage. He looks good but also has minor issues. One side of the body doesn't peg in as tightly. You can also pop off the leg during transformation. besides those issues, the materials feel great and there's some diecast on it as well.
12. Laserbeak has a loose foot, but that's on a screw, so probably not an issue. The camera embedded in his head is also loose and won't stay up. The rest of the joints are good.
13. Rumble/Frenzy has floppy knees and tightening the screws doesn't help. The tight heels require a tool to get out. The missile also doesn't plug into his back all that well. He also adds the accessory to the figure and shows off some articulation. Knees flopping again. The missile plugs in tightly at the front, but not the back.
14. Overall, he likes the figure a lot. There are some issues here and there. The transformation is smooth and simple.
