With the extended neck he definitely looks like the decepticon getting a going over by Bumblebee in the Showwest teaser. I can't explain the treads though but maybe him and rampage combine too? Part of assembling Devestator maybe?
I mean no offense Peaugh, but it felt like you didn't make the usual preparations for this particular review. I do agree with you, Hasbro could have left out that artillery mode and I bet a month after it was released someone would have it up in a fan mode/mistransformed thread.
Nice review as always. I have a lot more appreciation for this figure now but still won't be getting him-or any of the other Constructicons for that matter. Can't wait to see them all onscreen though. Probably only going to get Voyager Megatron and Ravage if I get any of the movie line at all.
He looks cool but I think the bot mode looks badly proportioned. Long arms, skinny legs...I kind of want to see him and voyager Prime next to each other.
None taken. I ended up having to shoot at 2 in the morning, as it was the only chance I was going to have until later this week, and since everyone was asleep I wasn't able to get everything set up as usual.
wow thats one complex transformation, and im kinda reliefed how his wheels end up behind his arms. This one is on my list for sure.
im seriously unimpressed with the constructicons, the alt modes are fine but those robot modes are simply hideous, i keep thinking of spawn and bargain bins for some reason.
awesome review man! though i couldnt help but notice that during one of the 3 of your ROTF Constructicon reviews, you said something about looking at all the Contructicon instruction sheets-did you mean all as in these 3, or all as in ALL?
poo. i was kinda hoping that you had seen the others, as im DYING to see the bot modes of Hightower and...um... whoever the other arm of Devastator is.
Yes, a very complicated figure but I don't know if the effort is worth it. Looks like a lot of kibble and the arms look restricted by the outer shell of the mixing drum even though the arms look like they have articulation. Not digging all that beige either. Is the weapon only usable in his weapon platform mode?
i'm so bitter and pissed they have all these constructicons with 3rd modes...and yet they couldn't freakin make "limb" modes and have these ones actually form devastator
pretty awesome, but so far im liking rampage the most. the artillery mode on mix, is just...awful, but besides that he seems like an excellent figure. hopefully we'll see a whole team of transforming constructicons. -rikkuluverx2
