Just in today with Jetfire: Long Haul!

Long Haul is in the classic Constructicon green, and retains his Dump Truck alt mode.



The joints in his arms, however, allow the dumper to work:



Transformation is average, nothing complex, but not simple either. The gates DO lock onto his thighs. Sadly, while you can pose the wheels on his shoulders a bit, the backpack goes no lower. There's hinges everywhere in that assembly EXCEPT for where the whole thing meets the torso. Still, Pretty cool.



Each arm also has a flip out Axe activated by a button on his upper arm:

Sadly, so far he looks way too big to work with Devastator in this size. Radicons may want to look to the FAB for their kitbashing/custom needs. But definitely worth picking up!

Hey Peaugh, due to his double jointed knee do you think you can pose his feet ala Starscream chicken legs?

 

Sadly, no, it's double jointed, but it folds FORWARD for transformation. It can't fold backward much without modification.

 

He is so bought. I loves me some dump trucks.  

 

Oh shame, well he still looks like a killer toy and looks awesome together with his brothers!

 

Can you get many cool poses out of him?

Where do you rank him among the four Constructicons?

 

Only individual Constructicon I plan on getting as of yet..... maybe mixmaster as well. But this guy is a must! The design is just great, even if not completely realized in toy form (much like many of the Movie designs). But that's a quibble that many have heard far too often and am sure are sick of hearing.

Seeing as how all the other constructicons have a "3rd mode" have you any guesses at what Long Haul's is?

 

He doesn't seem to have one. It would've been on the back of his box.

One question though. Could you try to pose the four like they would be as Devastator? Just wanna see what that looks like.

 

Nice pics. truck mode is sweet but the bot mode looks just okay.
