Actually I was only agreeing with your post, as I found it to be the most benign statement from anybody who wasn't interested in the figure. I liked it because you plainly stated Bludgeon wasn't for you, but gave reasons why you understand how others might be excited for him. It was logical and considerate, which is something I rarely get to see on a message board. All I want from the TF designers is new, interesting figures, which they supply on a fairly regular basis. It just irks me sometimes when people nitpick every little thing they have some weird, personal problem with on a figure. I didn't mean to come off as if I wanted to start a fight with anyone, I was only releasing something that was eating at me from inside for too long. Well, that's nerdom for you.
He looks sweet. Still movie style but boxy enough to blend well with my classics. Cant wait!! When is he due?
This toy looks so different than anything else in the movie. Did Bay have anything to do with it? It's nothing like ROTF! It actually looks pretty good!
This toy is looking really beautiful. Even if he turns out to be kinda kibble-y, and lack articulation, he still going to make a great display piece. I'm soo going to paint that sword silver once I get my hands on one! I love robots with swords.... instant win.
It does look good for a non-featured character. I've always been frightened by him, though. So I'll avert.
The funny thing here is, Metallikato isn't spelled wrong, it's just that it's so damn stealthy that the entire word can't be seen by the untrained eye.
my only gripe about it was the face..and that looks much better now, i think that some black paint around the eyes and maybe silver "under" the skull will make it look even better.
It's ok looking. I'll pick it up but I wish the face was more evil looking. As it is now the face is kinda.... cute. Cute lil' evil head.
If I remember rightly, this figure was designed to be in the Classics/Universe line but due to timing, they released it under the ROTF line. I do wish people would understand that the "Classics" line is not "dead", but that Hasbro will ALWAYS bring out "Classic-style" figs in whatever range of toys they make as those style toys will sell. It's amusing to see some of the less informed posters here winge about "how this toy seems to have the wrong look for the movie line" or "I'm so annoyed (insert TF line here) is dead". Read between the (different Transformer) lines, people. Classics isn't dead. It's merely hiding in the movie and Classics lines for now.
