I picked up Bludgeon in the mobile game Transformers: Earth Wars. I've had a hankering to collect figures of my best team of Decepticons and Bludgeon was one of my first members.

I watched a few reviews of the figure and was convinced. Did some shopping around and found a nice loose one on eBay for around thirty bucks.

This is an impressive figure. It has one of the most perfect and believable alt modes which is actually modeled off a real tank (Japanese Type-90 MBT).

Robot mode is almost equally as perfect. Fantastic mold, great accessories, great poseability considering it seems like he has a lot of bits to get in the way, and I love how the turret backpack splits open and has a bunch of inner gizmos which turn and move when you pop it open or close it. It's a great fit for a CHUG collection. Looks perfectly at home.

I kinda have post-'86 movie theme going for my CHUG collection. Ultra Magnus is perennially kicking Galvatron's ass but my Striker Manus has been needing a worthy foe and Bludgeon is most certainly it.

This is a very impressive figure. I highly recommend him! If you haven't picked him up yet he's worth it.

It is a very good toy. I especially like the G2 Megatron and Cloud Megatron version of the mold.

It is an amazing figure, I have him and was always tempted by Banzaitron, just watch those hands though, they can snap.

The ROTF line gave us some incredible Decepticon figures like Lockdown, Mindwipe and Bludgeon. With Bludgeon being perhaps the best.

If you can find one cheap enough, you should consider investing in the Perfect Effect kit, the solid swords and more evil head definitely help push this figure over the edge of awesomeness.

Bludgeon isn't bad by any means but the heavy amount of kibble is starting to make him feel a little dated. Compared to CW Leader Megatron (regular or Armada flavour) it's easy to feel some of that kibble could have been reduced.

Exactly what i was going to post. It's an awesome figure but it's massively improved with the upgrade kit. Two choices of head with two faces for each, two swords (one small, one large) and a massive shoulder cannon.

Really enjoyed doing this UK Comic Cover Recreation with it too

I like how the kibble is sculpted to look like samurai armour. My main gripe his the hands that are known to break and the rubbery swords.

    That: Is brilliant.

Same here, I like the effect the kibble gives. I've luckily never had issue with the hands.

I don't even consider Bludgeon a movie toy any more, I've included him on my CHUG shelves because I like it so much. I did the same thing with Fracture/Crasher and Brakedown (until Brakedown got a CW update).

I was lucky enough to find Bludgeon at a fan toy store in Phoenix, before it shut down. I'm glad that I did. I don't consider him a movie toy at all. For me, this is G1 Bludgeon all the way. I don't have any add-on kits. The basic set up is fine with me. I'm just glad to have a figure for the character.

I must say, he's one of the most stable sword-wielding TFs made. He stands better than Windblade, Drift, or Grimlock.

So who would win this fight? Bludgeon or Grimlock? :)

Man that sword lol. This is why giving him rubber swords is a bad idea. And head is kinda odd.

Man i need to dig my back out lol.

I at one point had the bludgeon, Banzaitron, G2 Megatron and Overlord versions of this mold. I sold on the Overlord and Banzaitron versions.

Yep, same here. With the Head Robots upgrade and some reprolabels, he's such an awesome figure.

Is a solid figure without a doubt and the Headrobots upgrade improves him a lot.

If it only had some wrist swivels it would be perfect.

Gotta agree- here's my custom using the PE head and swords from the blood kit. Wish I could have got the maiden Japan armor when it was still available.

Agree on all accounts. I was a sad panda when I had to sell ROTF MW+Skystalker this summer since I already owned the Fansproject and planned on getting the TR (acquired last week, in fact!), but Lockdown and Bludgeon are definite keepers!

My first experience with the mold was Overlord from Botcon 2012. Honestly I'm glad my first Bludgeon was the one from the TFCC FSS 4.0 from CW Onslaught. I just don't really care for the ROTF Bludgeon mold.
