Ok guy this is my first time posting here this is also my first real custom that isn't just a repaint. This is going to be Roft Vortex when it's done.



This is the first mod that I did.



I cut off the tail of the copter mode as you can see to free up some movement. I then cut off the tail blade and mounted a magnet to it.



I also mounted magnet on the tail as well as the left arm.





This is so I can mount the tail blade on the arm as a weapon and on the tail for alt mode.





I am also working on a custom gun that will mount onto the underside of the tail in alt mode and the right arm in robot mode. I will have pics of this later.
I still have alot of work to do to him before he is done but it's coming along nicely. Let me know what you guys think so far.
Well I got some more work done with him. I started his gun today I thinnk I will mount this to the other are in bot with another magnet and to the tail of his alt mode as well. Let me know what you guys think.









Well all of the mods are done. he just need paint. Here are some pics. Enjoy.









Well he is done. I took some time off on him over the last half of the summer as it was to hot to spray outside. Let me know what you guy think.

I got them a michales craft store. There in a pack of 6 and there like $3 also there super strong.

 

are you going to make the other combaticons and make them form bruticus?

 

that is the plan yes but its gonna take awile to get them all done.

thats Awesome bro, im also doing a Vortex to. Was it Real difficult to do the Magnets? like how did u get them to stick.

 

nah it wasnt hard to do bro I used mighty pudy. that stuff is great I use it alot. are you doing the other combaticons as well?

 

lol Mighty Putty? Isn't that the stuff Billy Mayes did an infomercial on?   I never would've thought to use that for customs, or rather, kitbashing. Thanks for the tip! Also, your Vortex is looking great. I love how he looks without the giant helicopter kibble hanging off of him.

Yes I did thats how all of this started. I just wasnt happy with it still just being blackout also I really love the combaticons.
