    anyone other than me thank the fallens head/helmet whatever looks like the predator head gear? and in the alien vs predator didn't the ancient Indians worships them to.

    i can't wait for 6/26/09

    It's been brought up before. I really dont see the Predator resemblance, myself. It clearly resembles an Egyptian headdress to me. Considering the Egyptian motiffs we already know are in the film, it cant be anything BUT intentional.

    Honestly, what part of that looks ANYTHING like the Predator helmet? That was very mantis shaped. Broad triangle. This is long and skinny, and like inspired by Set with the skinny 'chin' and the two long ears.

    Wouldn't it be cool if Bay somehow referenced the Liege Maximo? But the only thing in common is the dark green and squinty eyes.

    its interesting how different the Fallen toy head looks from this new shot, the back of his head on the toy is almost horizontal, where this pic its vertical, like a pharaoh headdress.

    I agree; even though a few people have already said this, this shot makes me wonder if the toy was slightly mistransformed. If not, perhaps the toy designers weren't given enough opportunity to carefully study the CGI models. I got the sense that that's what happened with the Leader class Prime head sculpt for the first (non-premium) toy back in '07.
