I sorta agree, but I think if you take into account the mere size of him, all the joints (ratcheting) packaging, and plethora of colored plastics, it sorta does warrant a high price. Looking at it, I see about 8 plastic colors, which mean = 8 molds needed. that gets pricey. LED work is expensive to manufacture also.

No thanks. I'm much happier with Masterpiece Grimlock in its place.

For your money, you'd be far better off with the Target Bruticus and Superion as your first combiners. Not in the movie, but much better toys.

For that price the robots should have been able to transform individually.

Normally I don't ever gripe about lack of paint apps because I understand there's a cost impact... but considering the price here, he's VERY underpainted/underdetailed.

I can see myself getting this on clearance, then commissioning a Radicon to add some basic lines/paint/weathering for me.

Since this thing will never, ever be at a reasonable price in Sweden, easy pass. He does look awesome for painting, and I'm betting F-R is gonna have a field day (or a couple) with him.

Size is always impressive, but when you consider that four of this guy would buy you a Fort Max in decent shape...

still an overpriced piece of power ranger crap imo, actually power ranger toys would have better paint job, definitely a must NOT have unless some poor idiot wants to sell for $20 :)

I can't wait to lay my hands on Jetfire and Devastator, there is plenty of rooms for realistic painting and weathering on these 2. I will have to get at least 2 each, but it will be a couple of weeks for them to appear on the shelves in Singapore.........

I've had a hard time mustering up any optimism for this figure and a more detailed review only furthers that. Those -ives are HUGE negatives. Essentially, the alt modes suck, the paint apps suck/don't exist, and the combined mode...sort of sucks. that looks like 100% suck to me.

Of course they called "Demolisher" Scavenger because it is Scavenger! Demolisher died at the beginning of the movie and the Voyager toy of Demolisher was accidentally painted in Scavengers colors.

I noticed the scoop arm of Scavenger is folded into the back. Can the scoop arm be unfolded to be in the front so that Devastator looks more manly ?

I heard a rumor that someone (Takara?) might be doing a Dev's mode using the voyager class figures...any info on that?
