Hey Bro, i did a Custom Of him Too, Id Throw some Lighter Green to break Up the Drybrush Silver on his arms and legs
oh yeah ...theres going to be some bronze highlights in there as well...this was my first attempt today at drybrushing.....im just happy the base is down without too much issues...there will be some more green and other colors to hopefully make the robotics 'pop'
It looks really nice, but maybe add something to break the gray up a bit. Other than that it scored an 11.
i like it. he should of been in the movie so that devestator could actually fight somthing other than a pyramid.
This just confirms my suspicion that Stratosphere is a decent mold, destroyed by a god-awful paint job. This looks awesome, I agree that some lighter green will be nice.
i forgot to get the bronze and gold paint today.....ughhhhhhhh..the outside of the plane is more greenish.... didnt add any to the silver portion of him in bot mode....it just didnt feel right when i was going for it...i might still do it though
I saw this over in the Cool Stuff thread. I personally love this figure, because it's very unique, and your paint apps have really given it a more real feel. I only wish that a third party would come out with a shuttle/gun that's supposed to go on top of the alt mode as what was originally planned...for a reasonable price. I've thought of modeling one myself from styrene and a Classics weapon (ie: Rodimus' gun), but can't seem to part with it. For now, I gave my Stratosphere twin scythe blades that fit the hands.
thanks, im with ya.. i really dig this guy..i guess cause its sooo different....it kinda breaks the mold...and thought the feet arent really all there....makes me like it more...not all transformers tshould be perfect.. uniqueness is the spark of life
