Sideways. Soundwave is crap, and IIRC is getting a better paintjob later in the line.

 

I agree that blue soundwave looks better.

 

Soundwave is kinda lame if he wasn't soundwave i bet most people wouldn't pick him up. THe sdeways mold is really awesome IMO.

 

I think original looks just fine now, and his newer colors look wierd. I like Sideways, but why is everyone picking on soundwave?

 

Because the toy is floppy and bleh idk. The colors are fine he looks ok but if you touch him nothing is secured well. The blue repaint does look much better but the toy is still eh

 

I hope Soundwave gets a bigger voyager type toy. He seems so small after looking at all the pics posted.

Sideways between those two. I picked up Sideways and he's awesome. But I would also highly suggest Breakaway.

Little chicken legs that are surprisingly sturdy. He stands up better than Sideswipe. XP

And at least his alt mode actually looks like something. Soundwave is a mangled mess of parts they arbitrarily decided was a space ship/satellite.

 

Sideways out of the ones you listed, also Breakway is surprisingly fun.

 

well, if you wanna look at it that way, soundwaves alt mode looks just as much like the satelite mode hasbro invented as sideways' alt mode looks like the car mode hasbro made up....

the thing with soundwave though is that his alt mode is made up, supposedly cybertronian where as sideways is a knock off version of an audi r8....

i love audi's and vw's so seeing a knock off version of the r8 as the alt mode really lets me down

 

I think you'd have to be a real Audi fanboi to look at Sideways and think "That looks NOTHING like an R8." I saw him and half expected a little Tony Stark figure to come with him.

 

I don't like sideways's legs and feet.. I can recommend Breakaway.

 

awsome if they did sideways as Human alliance and in the underneath section of the engine ..they put the ironman suite.....that would sooooooo rock......

 

I don't know cars. XP Sideways just has a sweet car mode. That's all. So what if it's the lesser known model, Not-an-Audi. It's cool to me. Soundwave...I'm not convinced WHAT he is.

When you consider that Swindle was one of my favorite molds from the first movie line, though, maybe my tastes are a little weird.  

 

I only have Sideways right now. I am still waiting for my order of Soundwave to arrive. But whenever I receive my order of Soundwave, then I will make a choice.
