    I'm gathering up my haul to purchase online. I have enough for one figure. Which one is better? Should I get ROTF Soundwave or save a couple of dollars and get Ransack?

    They'll probably repaint Ransack at some point. But if the last movie's preview figures are any indication, you'll never see Soundwave again.

    Not true - Soundwave is going to be repacked in an upcoming wave (wave 3 I think).

    Don't have Soundwave, but haven't heard great reviews. I love Ransack.

    Get Ransack. Soundwave is the hope killer. He is the little turd that brings total disappointment.

    I gotta say Ransack. Soundwave is cool in bot form, but his transformation and Alt modes leave you wanting. He's touted as a triple-changer, but in reality you move some hinged pieces into a different position, so he's a regular transformer with a variant alt mode.

    Ransack is my favorite TF in years. I'm all about the scouts in this line,they seem really unique and different,kind of like some of the eighties Gobot figures.

    Ransack hands down. Both of Ransack's modes are original, innovative, and well done. Soundwave on the other hand is pretty short compared to the other Deluxe figures and his alt modes leave a lot to be desired.

    Ransack... Soundwave just doesn't look all that good.

    I bought Ransack... how many TFs are there that transform into a Bi-Plane !?! :D

    ransack 100% the bi-plane looks great and the bot mode looks like a ramshackle old curmudgeon. he has a nice, skeletal headsculpt also. soudwave triple changes into 3 pieces of crap...imo.

    I just opened my Ransack, and I'm happy with him. The Decepticon logo on the top is just awesome. The bi-plane alt mode looks great. The robot mode is al'right if you like the skeletal look.

    I looks like Ransack it is. How durable is the figure? Can it withstand the wrath of the little hands of a 5 year old?
