It really depends on how many wave 1 (IE preview wave) cases the stores in your area got. Unlike BB who's in wave 1 and wave 2, Soundwave is only in wave 1. He comes 3 or 4 to a case (the rest being BB) depending on which revision the store got. He's not in wave 2 cases at all. And wave 3 revision 1 will have 1 Soundwave in it.
Sorry for bumbping this, but I just have to say: If you want a Soundwave, you'd have to search for it. I don't know how it is in other stores, but at Walmart they have loads of Wheelie, Skids, and Brawl/Devestator in Deluxe Class. The Fallen, Megatron, Ironhide, Ratchet, and a Starscream here and there. I bought the only Soundwave figure I seen in the store..
In Kelowna here, I looked in my Wal-Mart. Preveiw BB's, and wave Leaders/Deluxe's/Legends/Voyagers. I looked around a bit, went into the Lego aisle 'cuz my brother wanted something from there, and lo and behold, 3 SoundWave's. I did a good thing and put them back into the TF aisle. MTL
ditto...floppy mess of joints and the feet are soo loose you cannot get him to really stand up by himself...i am sick of these movie TF's that have loose joints that are riveted in so you cannot tighten anything up... they are more and more just floppy loose messy piles of plastic...my mixmaster is like that...a total waste....if i can find an M80 firecracker...his ass is gone daddy gone...
I have only seen him a couple of times. He rarely see him now. I am glad to hear he will be with Wave 3.
