    Man, Soundwave is creepy. Between his "WATCHING YOU HUMANS BRINGS ME PLEASURE, AND NOW I WILL CONTROL THE DESTINY OF MANKIND" toy bio and that picture of him doing obscene things to a satellite, Soundwave is kinda disturbing.

    That's a cool advertisement, but I'm trying to hear G1 Soundwave saying all that, and it's not working...the "voice" of the text just doesn't really go with the character (at least his traditional representation). Also, it's pretty random.

    I was just talking with my wife about that the other day. I've found that the comics sometimes have similar problems. E.g., the prequel for the first movie, when Megatron says "'Terra Firma'; seems anything but." That doesn't sound like Megatron at all; it sounds like Simon Furman. Likewise, Soundwave's personality has never been as obnoxious as that ad makes him sound.

    OK, want the toy even more now, plus I'm getting that ad and laminating it and displaying it with the toy. That is one of the best Ads I've seen!!
