I went to the Walmart website to order myself one and it is not listed. What kind of bullsh*t is that? I have sent them an email asking when will they be getting more in. I will not be surprise if they answer back by talking in circles.
I have him and love him. Like I said in the cool stuff thread, the mold may have made a sub-par Starscream (general opinion, I quite liked it) but it makes fantastic Thundercracker and Skywarp. Them displayed with ROTF Starscream looks great.
*gasp* skywarps not all shiny and premium like in Hasbro's photoshopped picture. *screams false advertising* Easy. Evil plan 1 1) Release skywarp in ROTF line using old SS mold. 2) Watch a bunch of sucker fans pay $27 for an old $20 mold to complete their seekers set. 3) Release starscream in G1 colors in new voyager mold. 4) Watch a bunch of sucker fans pay $24. 5) Repeat with skywarp and thundercracker. 6) Laugh all the way to the bank. Evil plan 2 1) Release ramjet in ROTF line using old SS mold 2) Watch a bunch of sucker fans pay $27 for a old $20 mold in the hopes that all the coneheads will be made. 3) Repeat for Thrust and Dirge 4) Repeat using new SS mold 5) Laugh all the way to the bank carrying bags of cash. Evil plan 3 1) Repeat with leader mold. 2) Throw out back laughing too hard while carrying too heavy bags of cash to the bank.
Yea, that describes me to a T, although I'm not buying the new SS mold (or repaints) there's just not enough differences in the 2 molds for me. Strange that I will buy the exact same mold 6+ times with different paint apps but but a slight remold ain't enough for me. I am however hoping to get the rest of the Seekers w/ the next movie, or even better later in this line.
Yea, they only had them up for like a day or so before they took em down, makes me wonder about the distribution/quantity of this set. I'm glad I ordered mine when I did, I almost waited but the free site to store shipping got me... glad did it now even if the site to store is slow as a MF (due to arrive on 25th) Am I the only one who ordered Ramjet too?
Because that mold looks way different than the previous mold. And Starscream and Thundercracker were already done up in the old mold with the G1 head retool. You make Skywarp out of the ROTF mold and he no longer fits.
I ordered ramjet too cause I'm a sucka. It arrived yesterday but I'm waiting for my $12 animated prime to arrive too.
Very cool pics, I'm looking forward to finding Skywarp and Ramjet. Personally I'm glad they went with the Movie 1 Starscream molds, they'll fit in with the G1 colored Starscream and Thundercracker from the first toyline. Same here. I haven't seen the need to get another Movie-Styled Starscream mold.
