I already ordered mine when i saw the news in seibertron.com. These exclusives are bad for the consumer bec. they encourage the overpricing by the scalpers. Now even walmart is playing the overpricing game on the exclusives. I had to pay $22 for deluxe fracture at ebay bec. of these exclusive deals. I never found the best buy premium ratchet. Voyagers are supposed to be $23 only and TRU is selling them for $18 only.

 

Don't give Toysrus too much credit. The one i go to was selling their exclusive ultras, Darkwind and Countdown for 29.99. Also, TRU is only selling voyagers for $18 until this Saturday. Once this sale ends, voyagers are going to shoot back up to 22.99.

 

i thought that this was a Target Exclusive... is it a Walmart Exclusive? heh, oops

 

The price hike on these is for the ridiculous, nicer looking packaging, on top of the lenticular tech spec cards included.

TRU charging $29.99 for their Ultras makes sense anyway, seeing as how Ultras were $30 at most stores all the way through the Cybertron line.



ANYWHO, ordered two Skywarps (one for my brother) and a Ramjet, thanks for pointing those out! Hate having to hunt for exclusives...

 

I'll have to pass on these. They're clearly overcharging for repaints of old movie figures!

 

Well it costs me roughly $5 in gas for a round trip to the nearest Walmart. I'd same quite a bit of time just having them shipped right to my house.

The kicker is that I already drove out there over the weekend to get these, and neither Walmart (the closest two are within a few miles of each other) had them at all. So $5 gone for nothing. Blah.

ok... in the midst of typing up this email I went to the site and just bought both. $60.88 shipped. 2 more steps completed to my Movie-verse painted as G1 collection.

 

Id pass on the ramjet but that skywarp is sexy

 

Well, I'm happy these were posted! I like the looks of both of them, and since it costs me bridge fees to go to the nearest Walmart anyway mail-order is the way to go.

Personally I'm glad they're the older mold. The new mold is great, but then they wouldn't match Thundercracker! Though, I'm such a sucker for Seekers that I would likely buy another set in the new mold as well.

Besides, I have to have Ramjet to pose with Ejector (Toasterbot) when he shows up.  

(Not disagreeing that they are a bit overpriced, though.)

 

While grumbling about the price, I'm ordering them anyway. The decos are just so nice. And the Walmarts around here rarely get exclusives.

Also noticed they've bumped their movie Voyagers, Powerbots, and Deluxes down to $17.88/$7.88 to compete with TRU's sale.

And Animated Waspinator is on clearance for $9, for those that haven't been able to find him.

WOW, glad I grabbed em when I did. If they took em down already that makes me wonder how bad the distribution is gonna be on these, or even the quantity that they have to distribute... guess we'll see.
