Even Harry Potter had it's problem competing with RotF!! It was 1rst place internationally, but came 2nd in the national earnings !! As expected, it has become tiresome. The last film felt a little bit boring !!

Well, it has my money from day 1

It doesn't surprise me that it sold that quick, even with all the hate surrounding it. Sell on, sell on ROTF

I have about $25,000 in speakers, processor and amps in my home theater and what I can tell you is that the volume was low (about 4 dB) compared to other movies at reference levels. Many folks at AVSForum who have both copies (I don’t have both) agree with this. This is not so much a sound quality issue than it is an oversight that can be corrected by turning up the volume. Please keep in mind that 4 dB is not a small amount. We perceive double the volume at every 10 dB increase.

very nice! money money money! :D  cant wait to buy the best buy blue ray version ether with the prime bust. that blue ray will look so good on my ps3.

the special features on the dvd are pretty cool. especially the 25 years of transformers documentary. makes me feel so patriotic :D

and thank jolt that the delegated scenes WERE deleted. the one with sam's parents and sam's dad's "Eiffel tower" were horrible. no doubt people would have bitched about that.

Awesome. When I went to Wal-Mart there was only a few left on the DVD shelves, but there was tons of Blu-Ray.

    Seriously?!

That's amazing! Great job ROTF! Despite the nay sayers, ROTF really is overwhelmingly poplular.

I bet TF3 breaks some BIG records!

    Ebay:
My local walmart was sold out of the bluray discs at 4am on Tuesday.
Had Tons of the DVD tho. I asked if there were any copies left of the bluray,
and the manager gave me a copy a store worker stashed behind the register.

Overall, the bluray looks nice, but the IMAX scenes look WAY too fake.
The cgi looks too 'shiny' and off. Toss in a few awkward aspect ratio changes at odd times during battles, and you have a cluster---- of epic proportions. Even my wife noticed it. Whatsold me on the disc at walmart
was the $19 price of the bluray. Two dollars cheaper than the deluxe DVD set.

Adding home media sales, ROTF is almost assuredly going to break $1 billion dollars in revenue.

That can only mean more $$$ ponied up for TF3.

So does that make it double platinum? or is that just for CD's?
