Freaky that they used almost the same pose, but it is indeed different. Head is posed differently. The TRU Japan picture is definately a digital touch-up too.
It doesn't transform, it's a Robot Replica. Anywho, I like it. I've always loved the robot design for the twins.
Still an ugly character. RR's peg-warmed around here for ages, and now they're releasing one for nearly every character in RotF. Odd. Didn't think they'd be in that much demand. I just hope the joints are a little better this time around.
Because it's a Robot Replica, the figures that don't transform. :B Seriously though, I find it hilarious Skids warrants this many figures. Hope poor Mudflap gets to join him, because I wanna become a rabid collector of these guys if they all come in pairs. XD Also, I can't help but think Skids here has a gangster gun. Living the Paddington dream! I'll leave it to Vangelus to make a joke on this.
Ive noticed that too. It seems like Mudflap isnt getting nearly as many figures as Skids. Not that it matters much to me. I'm one of those "twin haters".
yeah, i was actually REALLY surprised they brought this line back, i feel like none ever sold at the Target's i frequented at the time ~ seems like they've stepped up the sculpting on this go round though, the 07 ones were pretty dreadful IMHO. (and I still don't really see the point of these ~ maybe if they were somewhat in-scale to each other or had like revoltech type articulation...)
Anyone got an idea when the RR's will come out? Like will Wave 1 of Robot Replicas be attached with Wave 1 of the regular toys? I'm probably the biggest RR fan around. Nobody's making statues so these are the closest I can get to screen accurate TF's.
Just a heads up to people; this figure is out at retail. Deceptikitty and Grimlock_13 found him at Walmart alongside The Fallen, Megatron and Bumblebee.
