Hope you guys like this repaint I've been working for the last weeks.
I was surprised by the AMAZING amount of detail Starscream has, and happily surprised too by the mold Hasbro delivered. I believe this is one the most accurate Robot Replicas so far, and definetily the most accurate of this year's first wave.

I used several tones of silver, chrome, metallic blue, red, black, gold, copper... well, you get the point! :)

There are many more pictures on my flickr.

Looking good! I'm planning something similar with the voyager toy, was going to start it today but was all out of grey. If you don't mind, how'd you do the 'tattoo' details? That's one problem I haven't quite figured out before I start this project on the other toy.

    Thanks for your comment!
I painted the tatoos with a very small pencil and started from scratch, since the original markings the figure had were not accurate at all. Not so sure about the ones in the voyager version though, but your problem is that there aren't any reference pics for the jet mode, so you'll probably have to go with the ones Hasbro did for him... you might want to use masking tape on most of the tatoos before painting, and handpaint the smaller ones ;)

I was thinking of using tape to mask off the areas, but they're so small it wouldn't be possible, or at least worth all that effort. I plan to keep him displayed in his robot form, so I'm thinking what I'll do is use the CGI images I grabbed off a google search as a guideline. There really don't seem to be that many tat's on those CGI images anyway (found 3 good images) so I'm hoping, when I start this repaint, that it wont be too much of a pain.
