I got him and Rotf Dune Runner today from Tfctoy on ebay! Bio: REVERB loves being a DECEPTICON. Since the war began, he's got to travel from one end of the galaxy to the other, meet hundreds of interesting beings, and help to annihilate them. All that violence has been nonstop fun, as far as he is concerned. The other DECEPTICONS seem to enjoy being gloomy, but that doesn't bother REVERB. He's not going to let them ruin his fun. Ok he may just be a repaint but all the problems on Knockout are GONE! He looks to be a race motorcycle. He is odviously #97 He says Galaxy Racing on the side next to his decepticon logo. Ok now to Robot mode: Sorry bout the blurryness... Here he is next to Dune Runner. So Overall: If you want an AWESOME QC Free Repaint then go get him. If you only want knockout well then you suck. (just kidding) Well i recommend this repaint 100%!! Me and Sol Fury both think knockout should have been the decepticon and Reverb the Autobot. Just our opinions. ~AAD
He's a Decepticon since he's an homage to a Renegade Go-Bot. Which is exactly why I'm going to pick him up. I had the Go-Bot as a kid and always liked it, so this blatant homage is definitely something I'll pick up.
If I didn't know these things by being here, at first glance I'd think Knock Out was a Con and Reverb was a Bot.
Cool, may be the only cycle bot I'll buy from ROTF (because those Arcee bikes are too weird for me...).
Those colors are kind of obnoxious looking, and I can't decide why. Maybe they're so garish they make him look like a recolored knockoff. I can deal with Knockout's flat green eyes, but they don't work so well in garish red plastic. Normally I like these colors together, too (see Prime, Smokescreen, etc.). Ehh, I'm happy with Knockout. But maybe I'll consider this thing someday.
I like the dune buggy! I dont have Knock Out, so I'm not sure about the qc issues. This guy looks ok to me. I guess. I havent encountered any qc issues with this line...yet. Thanx for the review!!
Picked up Knockout yesterday and he's an awesome little guy, but I won't be getting Reverb cos I don't like the colour-scheme, but I'd highly recommend this mould to anyone. The scouts (with the exception of Rollbar and Detour who are just fugly IMO) are the stars of the show so far along with leader Prime and Sideswipe.
Same here! When I bought my first scout a week ago, I had a choice between Knock Out and Dirt Boss, I chose the latter because of this repaint. Go-Bot Homages are always better IMO. Although for some reason, his reasons for loving being a 'Con match up with this old Star Wars "recruitment" shirt (think the Uncle Sam posters, except it's Darth Vader) I use for sleeping in (right down to the "travel places" and "kill things" parts!) The colors are a bit too bright, though, and he needs a painted gun. Ah well, good thing I got all that weathering material I use in model railroading (a not-new look for TF's increases the realism dramaticaly, especialy with a Movie Salvage!)
Nice, I think he'll be my next acquisition because of no Ultra Magnus (damn), no Knockout and no Detour/Dead End. Also, surprisingly, I'm fond of his colour scheme.
I bought my niece Knockout, but i didn't get him because of the colors. but Reverb i like. and the niece wants him, too. as an old song goes, "I owe my soul to the company sto'...." man i am growing broke thanks to Hasbro.
I skipped Knock Out because I didn't want to skew my Autobot/Decepticon ratio too badly, so I just picked up Reverb today and...yikes! He looks decent enough in both modes, and I think I managed to beat some QC issues because his limb joints are all very tight, but I swear the transformation to bike mode is damn near unworkable. Everywhere I look it's just pegs that are way too small to fit their pegholes. I had pieces popping off all over the place and even now there's still really ugly seams everywhere. Nothing is holding this guy's bike mode together but prayers. Maybe they should've called this one Knock Off.
Someone told me this paint scheme is meant to be a homage to BW Inferno and not to Dart. Make of it what you will.
