Funny that the leaked treatment from what, two years ago, involved a big battle in Vegas and I think part of it involved the Luxor. Odd coincidence. I'll be there next week, can't wait to see that up close. That is a MASSIVE advertisement right there, viewable from air, the strip, of course anybody at the Casino...just wow. I would hate to know what that one costs.

Also LOL at the Area 51/J.A.N.ET flights on the tarmac. Almost makes ya wonder if someone has more than 4 brain cells in the marketing department and put all those elements together.

ROTF advertisement on the side of the luxor pyramid! HUGE! (PICS!)

As far as I know, I haven't seen any mention of this on the site yet. It appears the marketing team for the Transformers movie is continuing with the large buildings-used-as-ads similar to the last movie.

Here are photos of the ROTF advertisement on the strip-side of the Luxor pyramid! What a great tie-in! Remember the original draft of the script had the action taking place at the luxor instead of the original pyramids in egypt? Story was that the MATRIX was a secondary artifact from the all spark and was the source of Las Vegas' power, hiding under the luxor. Looks like that "completely fake" script wasn't so fake at all.

I can't tell if the advertisement is complete or not. It would be awesome if it consisted of more pieces that will actually cover the triangle side of the pyramid. It appears that the ad is still being placed as we speak so I will try to take more shots of it before I leave Thursday evening. Hopefully it covers the whole side of the pyramid, that would be stunning!

    Here are the pics!

Uh no. None of this film takes place in Vegas. Princeton, Egypt, LA, Allentown (China), but nothing to do with Vegas. Plus that "leaked" script was debunked a while ago. If I recall correctly, it was said to be a fanfic.

The only reason they're using the Luxor as a billboard is because it's a pyramid, and it's in Vegas next to the busy strip. The column of light that's visible from space just happens to work with the plot device in the film.

Plus the "leaked" version left the story in a cliffhanger. Bay didn't do a cliffhanger, it's been said that both movies while part of the same storyline could be considered a complete film on their own without having to rely on another piece to tell the story.

Plus there's no Hot Rod in ROTF, there was in the "leak". Plus Mikaela isn't in a building about to be blown up, causing Sam to think she's dead, like in the "leak".

    Sorry, just ain't happening.

Thats amazing. This just shows you how far transformers has come thanks to Bay and co. Love em or hate em, theres no denying that they have literally transformed a cheesy 80's cartoon to advertise kids toys into a world-wide phenomenon. (sp?)

That is perhaps the only poster worthy of Bay.
