I like the fact that, if this is true, the Autobots are still not fully trusted in society. Unlike in G1 and even Animated, where they are pretty much great, well-known heroes
Sounds pretty cool! The prequels are starting to make a lot more sense now in how they fit in to the movies.
Sounds great, really fits in where 'The Veiled Threat' book seems to be going. I think once the movies out and the novel is out, those 4 books are gonna be a really nice story. *wishes we had more TF novels*
The Autobots not being trusted, and having it being thrown back in their face that their presence alone is causing Decepticons to show up, is actually realistic. When the Big Bad shows up, sometimes you kill the messenger rather than listen to what they have to say. If any battles with Decepticons go awry, that won't help the Autobots politically, and the Autobots will have to worry about human politics (even if their presence is kept secret) getting in the way. Sounds interesting.
Creative Screenwriting Magazine ROTF *spoilers* Edit..oops nevermind I see it's been already posted. Don't think this has been posted yet. Nothing major but still a interesting read. Interesting. I hadn't realized before that there was this interesting storytelling possibility involving Sam qua ambassador. Thanks for posting.
I agree, and it does sound like a story-telling improvement over the first one already. Sam being a whiny bitch about his obligations to the autobots also sounds both realistic but frustrating, which makes for a good story. On a related note, I dreamed that the movie was coming out like a month earlier than originally planned. I hate when that happens. Now I'm all disappointed for no good reason.
[rant]I really really hate that word "mankind". Humanity, now that's the proper word they should use in these world conflict/disaster movies. [/rant]
I just hope its not a good guy bad guy team up at the end!! i really really hope that!! becuase the everything ive hear and seen sounds awsomeso far and i really think that would just ruin the movie!! i hope its osmthing as the decepticons battle the autobots at the end and try to take control of the fallen the fallen destroys the decepticons and begins to battle with the autobots somthing like that if you know what i mean...
Finally. No need for Unicron. (Though with the direction they're taking it, The Fallen is basically replacing Unicron. Which still isn't my cup of tea.) This means no giant planet eating planet robot. Yay! And no Primus! Double yay!
Prime.....DEAD? is anyone here buying into the idea that Prime dies in this film? the reason i ask is because of the scene in the recent trailer, where Sam is seen picking up the S-shaped-pointy thing (Matrix of Leadership?) at the same time Optimus stating that "Fate" quote... Makes me think this is possible.... what says tha fam?
