I'm really digging the 360 version. The missions can be repetitive at times but I enjoy it regardless. I am about 30% done the Decepticon's campaign and 10% the Autobot's one. This is vastly superior to the first game and well worth the money.

 

Can someone give me some pointers on fighting with Grindor? The other flight transformers controls so well in vehicle mode, but having to use two sticks to line up shots, when one of the sticks leans you forward but also moves forward, makes being a copter almost useless for me. Maybe I'm just using him wrong.

 

That's the only thing i'm worried about with the PC version. It's meant to run on Windows XP right?

 

i have the same problem all the time

in the end i just try to fly around and whenever the reticule is red push the fire missiles button

they'll find the enemies  

doesnt mean i like to use Grindor tho lol

 

Oh dude just wait until you play MP with us. Like I said in the 360 thread, the feeling of driving in a group with other autobots/decepticons is just so awesome!

 

I see people hover in MP all the time.

 

In the odd chance that I use a flier I'll use it.
Mainly I stick to the ground though.

 

I dont like to hover too much in MP, I seem to be a very attractive target most of the time I do it.

 

You can still dash in different directions while hovering, but most of the time I hover, I don't have a building to hide behind to absorb missiles so I still run a risk of hovering in the open.

By way, to anyone find themselfs having trouble against missiles. If you happen to be a bot that transforms into jet and you got the missile warning, doing a barrel roll (B + direction) it apparntly breaks the lock.

 

Just got all the Autobot unlockables. Gonna work on the Cons tomorrow.

 

Question- do you think they'll be including DLC for the PC?

 

Starting playing the Autobot DS game tonight-- I think it's just as good as the first one. I'm enjoying it.

 

That's good to hear. Now I can get it for PC.

 

Let's see:

More alternate skins for any current TFs without any, filling in the blanks so to speak. I'd love to see Ratchet get that G1 colored repaint from the first movie's toyline as a skin choice.

More TFs of course. Sideswipe is a must. Jolt would be cool, as would Mixmaster. Skids and Mudflap would be awesome. Brawl and Bonecrusher from the first movie too. Maybe add Blazemaster from the ROTF toy line or the Blackout Evac remold from the first movie's as a helicopter for the Autobot side. Maybe Cliffjumper too, BB repaint.

Co-Op. Give us some kind of Co-Op mode. Co-Op Campaign would be sweet, but I'd happy with something akin to Gears of War 2's Horde mode. Team up with some buds to fight endless swarms of Autobots or Decepticons.

 

i want that one city map that has the trains drivin around on the track

you could get lost in there  

thatd be a fun one to play online


but yeah! new maps would certainly be awesome. i want more!


as for characters, i really hope we get to see Sideswipe and Soundwave. Those two are ones that i really really really wanna play as. Mixmaster and Rampage would be freakin sweet too. whippin people with treads n stuff xD

and good idea whoever said Ravage! that would be neat  

 

Just give me Barricade, and I'll be a happy man. Hauling ass in a police Saleen with lights flashing and sirens blaring before launching into the air and turning into a killer robot...Most awesome thing ever.

And Bonecrusher would be cool too. But only if he can skate.
