I love Lockdown, but his arm falling off all the time finally got to me. I bought another. Lo and behold, his arm doesn't fall off, and I discovered why! On his left arm (the one with the engine) the ball that connects to the shoulder, there's a little raised reinforcement on the top of the ball so the shoulder ball doesn't pop out. My original doesn't have this little ring. I'm on my iPhone so I'll get a picture later... Just wanted to make people aware that Lockdown doesn't HAVE to have a defective arm...
Oh yes, pics please, I can't see anything that might prevent pop out on mine, so it may be a change of some sort.
Mine's pathetic. It's so bad I simply remove it before transformation. I also use it as an action feature. If I ever get a swordsman who needs to be posed with a defeated, dismembered villain - Lockdown is my go-to con. He doesn't like Drift.
I still haven't made it to my computer, but the little "c" shaped ring on the top of the socket seems to strengthen it so it doesn't stretch when the ball is put in. It can still come out, but I've transformed the new one 4-5 times now and nothing has popped off.
Okay, the pics are fuzzy because I can't figure out how to take small clear pictures... My old camera had a macro setting... One of them clearly has the raised area, and the other has nothing but an open top. I think that added part reinforces the socket so it doesn't stretch when the ball is inserted. What does everyone else's look like?
