Wasn't there a mystery listing for a combiner set in the $35 range that was speculated it might be a box set of these? Seems like the perfect idea for a store exclusive. TRU got a bunch of TF1 legends shoved into a gift set; hopefully these get the same treatment since it makes more sense.

since those are vintage based on the Takara logo i'd guess they are just for 'comparison' with the new ones... love those old-school boxes though!!!

 

I am buying these and selling for $48 a piece as a group buy
