Anyone having stress marks at the place pointed to in this pic? I just hope the clips don't break off I posted this in the feedback thread but didn't get an answer so I thought I would post it here. Thanks.
Not there, but I do have some on the peg to the left in your picture. The blue is almost completely white where it slides in and out; it's been like that since I got it and doesn't seem to be getting any worse so fingers crossed it's just a manufacturing issue and not me and my big sausage mitts.
I did like Longbridge. I think it has to do with that peg. Mine wouldnt go in the hole fully when I first got it when in robot mode and it would press up again his back and bend the wrong way adding stress and almost breaking. After a few attempts to push it in all the way it finally did and when I transform him into bot the bending and stress pressure is gone. Nothing can be done about the already damaged stress thou.
I've got the same issue with the circular peg on the left, on both parts of his back. I actually witnessed my sausage mitts making the second one during transformation, then checked the other part to see I had already made it. Just have to be careful I suppose. Bit annoying though, on a new toy and everything.
Not on mine, but now I will make sure not to stress that. Hell, I'm tempted not to transform mine ever again. Took me 52 minutes my first (and only) time turning him into a truck. Simpler just to use this as a default robot mode toy and play with TF1 Prime, who turns into a nearly-identical truck.
ha, yeah.. i took around the same time myself, pain in the ass to transform him to truck mode.. much easier to transform to bot mode and no, no stress marks on mine
i got a tiny stress mark on the peg on the right "wing", it's all about where you handle it, so now i always push it near the peg area so i make sure i don't stress anything
This has been discussed here as well, I could only fault the marks to the mushroom pegs but yes, it was annoying as hell to have 'em right out of the box
