UPDATE: New Pics - Fully glossed now. I decided to give him full gloss after I thought about doing selective glossing because having all black body panels and metal tone robotic parts, I thought gloss would do very well and it did! VIDEO REVIEW: Full 360 degree review of his reflective features!
Looking good so far. Im trying to do a nemesis as well but im having trouble getting him to look right, so this is a bit of an inspiration. Hope to see more soon.
That is a gooooood Nemesis head man. I can't wait to see it. Oddly enough I'm working on a Nemesis right now too. I'm nowhere near painting him yet though.
Thanks everyone, I am working hard on this one to make it look very unique for a Nemesis but at the same time a recognizable Nemesis. I have much more stategically placed damage to show later too. Thanks again! I'll be finishing up with 'that one' too at the same time Hippy, it's a rare custom so I want it finished before its posted man! I'll give you teaser pics on that one this weekend!
Its kinda hard to see the scars from distance. They kinda get lost in the molds' detail. Maybe make em deeper and silver paint with black drybrush? Idk, i think it would be a detail that should not get overlooked as it is kinda unique.
Thanks for the comment Fred but that part of this one is complete man. The only other details I'll add to the head now are shadowing tones.
Thanks guys! More Pics posted! Still need to balance the paint apps on 'his' right arm in comparison to 'his' left arm. I am also waiting for the windshield apps to dry before adding another layer. Quick tip guys, I popped all the pins so every thing is not assembled, it only appears to be. It's easier to paint and place him together again in order to see what else needs to get done and then just pop off a part or whatever.
Very nice indeed. After seeing this i know for sure that i need to tone down my silver drybrushing a little on my version, he looks too bright at the moment...too "cheerful".
