Got to admit, I like the figure, and I like the inclusion of Jetfire (was hoping for more of the G1 backstory instead).... but the combining thing is getting really old now. Even though it's scribbled over, it looks like GF/Cybertron Prime and Jetfire.

 

Seeing the cane again, I think of Marty, the dad in Frasier. I hope the voice doesn't match.

Hmm, I think Hasbro is behind this. Last time I checked, Japan rocked. They wouldn't let this and Devastator slide so easily.

Disagree. That fan made thing shows the guy has talent with the software he´s using to create such things, but the design style itself is the same bulky giant covered in fragmented parts stuff.

 

I agree with this guy. While admittedly I like that design better then what we're getting, for that thing to be workable as a toy would require WAY more underside kibble in Blackbird mode then Old guy Jetfire does as a toy. Frankly, I like the old guy Jetfire altmode alot because aside from the seekers, there's been few toys of real-life jets that hide robot mode bits as good as Jetfire does.

 

Bleh that Jetfire is just Optimus with jets plasted all over him, old man is actualy a way more original design than that.

It actualy got personality, and that is saying alot for Bay designs.
