New Line, New KOs!

already, before the actual street date, Revenge of the Fallen figures have been KNOCKED OFF! Considering depthcharge is wave 2 of scouts, the KO is out very early.

The first to hit the streets in China is good old soundwave. He is slightly simplified, but what makes him very unique and interesting is that he is a "Choose your own Character" figure that comes with 4 different heads! You can make soundwave, soundways, skidwave, and megawave! ok maybe he is too simplified to be a triple changer, but Quad character is interesting enough for me.

The second figure, actually batch of figures to hit the street are OVERSIZED Scout class KO's of Deadend, Dirtboss and Depthcharge. Yeah they like their D's. These are now called Deluxe class figures on the package, becuase that is what size they are. D Class, D Names.

I tried to pay the lady over 10X what they reguularly sell for to get even one of her samples, but it looks like I wont be able to get my hands on any until next weekend. For now I was able to take photos of them with my phone, and my gf's phone. I try my best for you guys, but sometimes they just wont budge... so Sorry for the bad quality images, I should have brought my real camera... best I could do at the time.

The scouts look as though they are Not simplified, that they are copies that have only been oversized.

awesome finds!, I love it when they oversize and retool and do wacky stuff like the interchangeable heads  

 

It's like Animated Voyager Prime all over again, where you could get the KO for about 2 months before the legit toy

Great find. Like the idea of interchangable heads..Skids as Soundwave is kind of scary though!  

 

ya the photos suck, you can say it and i aint gonna care either way,... im not gonna harp at you, retaliate or send a herd of sheep to flame you  .

OMG... the joints engineering on the soundwaves looks soooo bad.

Seems they went his backside as the frontside. But hey, maybe that's what SW will look like in the actual movie...since everyone already wondered what the face thing on his "back" is doing there.

 

Do you have a Devastator yet? I'm rather curious to see what it looks like, especially if it's cheaper then the HASBRO one.

 

not yet but im sure its only a matter of time on that one, especially because it doesnt look very complicated

Damn, these things get me more excited then the real ones! I cant wait to see whats next  

Thats my favorite thing about shopping for KOs is seeing what they manage to come up with next

I can see Hasbro clamping down on these unlike past KO's since the real toys are not even out yet and rotf is their cash cow

I actually like the color scheme on the first Soundwave. No thanks on Ragewave, Bananawave, and Smurfwave, though.

And the interchangeable heads thing is just... odd.
