i think i might get voyager class

 

Definitely will get the voyager. Really a shame about it not having a new head though. It's like they didn't even try.

HASBRO, PLEASE, PUT THE F'N MOLD OUT OF IT'S UGLY MISERY!!!

Had to get that off of my chest, it's been bugging me for two years. It seems like every six months they have released a new repaint, slight remold, whatever of the Blackout mold.

 

Is anyone else really digging Grindor's look? He looks more like Blackout than Blackout and I love the gold paint on his head. Almost looks like a Gundam crest.

 

Doesn't seem like Grindor has a remolded head. Looks almost identical to Blackout's. Would need a close up look though, but on first impression it seems identical, just with different colors.

Although the box art of Grindor's face spots some changes to his crown and mandibles, it doesn't seem so on the toy.

He looks all right but to be honest I really don't want to buy that mold again. It would have been really nice if they had done a new mold for Grindor and then later released a repaint of Blackout. Too bad, they almost had my money.  

 

Absolute trash.

Make a f'ing Leader Blackout/Grindor already. And plz no more repaints.

 

It is the exact same head. Ughh.

I actually love the old 2007 Blackout mold, despite the obvious scale problems. I liked the toy and the character enough to even buy the Japanese Lawson's exclusive repaint of it. When I saw this whole Grindor character for ROTF and saw the slightly different head render on the box art, I thought, "Well, as long as it gets a new head sculpt, I'll buy it a third time." Well, instead it's a straight up repaint.

Sadly--PASS.  I'd rather buy the Whirl repaint of this mold.

 

I actually don't mind Grindor. I'm not going to get him but at least it's an improvement deco-wise.

 

Every time I look at Grindor I am reminded of my mistake in not picking up Blackout. Any one know were I can get one cheap?

 

Well, I like this repaint but, I will get him only if I can get it for very very cheap.

That is a boring paint job.

 

I'm only getting it because I love the mold.  

 

I may get it, but not until I've bought everything else I want from the line.

 

They can keep that one.

 

Why the hell is it that when there's a Helicopter bot the tail section always folds down onto the back, hoping to be ignored? The CGI model doesn't even have that! What the should have done is made that entire bit split up and transform into the legs and maybe Blackout wouldn't be so puny compared to the other Voyagers. Brawl should have been a Voyager (Though Leader class is sweet.) Blackout should have been a leader. If they wanted him to be a little more in scale, Supreme with a $50/$60 price tag. Hell, I'll pay $100 for a Supreme Blackout.
