Jolt I feel, will always look odd without a screen counterpart to compare him with. Until then, we're just guessing based on Hasbro's transformations... and we all know their track record with that.

Oh man he looks sweet! Probably my favorite Autobot design from this new movie.

He should also get a prize for the first good use of allspark blue ever.

I really like that.

Not wild about what appears to be a lack of hands though. Face looks a little funky. Bot mode looks very smooth for a like that really embraces a lot of "jaggyness" for lack of a better word.

I'll be buying one.

Is it wrong that the main thing I took away from this was "Holy shit, Long Haul is pretty friggin' chunky!" ?

 

That's a dreadful TransFormer toy and one I won't be buying. Is it just me or is a great big lump of the torso transparent plastic?

While I bought most of the Movie 1 toys, outside of the scouts, there's not a lot I'm going to buy from ROTF.

I like Jolt, the face looks okay to me.

 

That's one ugly freakin bot, and I don't mean in a good way. 

 

Not impressed with him so far, but I'll await judgement..the face looks icky, but the shot on the package looked okay to me..so he won't look all bad in CGI.  

 

I think he looks awesome. But, does he have hands or just the whips??

 

Look closely, he got Lugnut-esque hands.

 

For some reason I've developed a bit of a soft spot for Jolt, in a similar way to movie 1 Bonecrusher. I do love the alt mode, probably because it's like something I could see on my way to work rather than Bumblebee or Sidewsipe's alt modes. Think I'll have to the CGI version to make a fair judgement about the bot mode but I don't think it looks that horrendous. It's nice to see a car-former who doesn't have his chest made from the car front. And I think the five chevy-bots will look cool displayed together in alt mode.

 

Hmm, looks like he's got a beak for a mouth and big round optics. Those 'whip' (?) weapons should be interesting to see in action.
