The color scheme for Dead End is definitely an improvement over Sideways.

 

The red on sideways doen't make sense. it's way 2 bright and is way 2 noticadle.on deadend it looks right. But y did deadend go from a scout to deluxe?

 

I still don't like the robot mode.. It's not screen accurate at all.

Gorgeous colors. And that headsculpt looks like an Animated depiction of G1 Dead End. So it's win all around.

 

dang that is awesome, got to get one for me and my mom lol we say her tahoe she had was possessed by dead end   (it would always get into wrecks/near wrecks).

Not for me. I don't think the colours look good at all; I'll stick with Sideways.

 

So just don't get Sideways and wait for Dead End to be released.

It doesn't count as a repaint if you don't already own the mold.

Good question and one I asked before. People seem to think Scout Dead End and Deluxe Dead End are two seperate individuals with the same name but really its open to interpretation until we get some solid facts one way or another. I am having all Dead Ends from ROTF as the same character.

 

Much better looking, would have liked to see this paint job actually in the movie.

 

looks good either way but the mold also looks like it would make for a great Kickback recolor. just needs an Insecticon head/antenae

...and if they do... i hope they don't put bright purple/yellow all over, but in subtle amounts & 'movie realistic' colour tones.

 

I like the head, fits in with movie Deadend's character as an animal- that he rarely talks save for snarls, goes about on all fours mostof the time and drains other's fuel lines with his teeth. Still, I'm being picky with ROTF and this mould is still meh to me. I'm only really fussed with the construticons, Soundwave, Ravage and Scalpel (the last 3 mainly due to their characters).

 

this is just DAMN SEXY....i much prefere the repaint....but ill get both b/c i cant say no.. I HAVE A PROBLEM. AND ITS THE TRANSFORMER BUG!!

 

What r the gimmacks that Sideways and Deadend have? 

 

Hmm...not so sure about this one. I think I like Sideways better.

 

So how do you like your red crotch, raw or medium rare?

 

I think a or the gimmick is that the circle on the right arm spins if u push in that part on the elbow.

 

If they swapped out the red for purple and yellow, that could make a passable Movie Kickback. The mold is certainly very Insecticon-like.

Mixed feelings on this. I think I prefer Sideways despite some improvements here.

The single biggest issue I have is that I just don't like that head sculpt very much.

You can't imagine how much I appreciate that they actually gave dead end all the paint aps I could ever wish for (I have a whole lot of Takara toys sitting here for just that reason)- some of them seem to clash with each other a bit.

Despite the excessive red in Sideways torso the whole thing just seems more coherent on Sideways.

I'm still just amazed that Sideswipe and Sideways actually have most of the paint aps they should have from the beginning. Hasbro never does that.
