Nice. I think I like the paint scheme on this figure better than the one on Sideways. Considering that he's getting a remolded head... I wonder if he's in the film?

 

Cool ! Hmmm, I'll probably be in the minority here, but aside from the badass altmode, I still prefer Sideways' robot mode.

 

It's not the best headsculpt ever, but I really appreciate that they're making the effort this time. It makes a big difference.

Vehicle mode is bitchin' in those colours.

I hate how cheap and tacky the red plastic is on Sideways. Dead End's looks a lot nicer. And it looks like Dead End has more paint applications as well.

 

It's still a matter of taste. Besides...Dead End still has the big red lower torso...but with a little V-shaped silver lining to it.

 

man i did want this one but that paint job looks like a custom gone wrong, it looks so shiny and out of place, the head is a mess too. i dont know......

 

Car mode looks very cool, but I prefer the original overall.

 

Yeah. But Dead End's shade of red looks more natural than Sideways' primary color red. Although I am increasingly disliking Dead End's head.

 

That looks like a hand painted proto, its   of course Sideways wasn't pretty anyhow

 

Looks a lot better than Sideways.

 

Camera flash makes both figures look like liquid plastic goo...I'll wait for some more pictures before I make final judgement, but I can already say Dead End is one mumbo jumbo of colors..ugh.

It's good to see repaints are getting remolded heads though!

What an excellent repaint. Should've gone with those colors for the movie instead of yet another silver car.

 

Wow. That is epicly beautiful. It's headsculpt and vehicle mode paint is superb. I could almost display this guy as Classics Dead end.

 

I'm REALLY loving this repaint. Even the head isn't so bad to me. This version has him looking a lot more insect-like, and it seems to suit him.

Though, it's got me thinking about what he'd look like with a bashed BW-Waspinator head, or some such. Just to complete the bug-look. (or perhaps another "Beast" head that's insectoid-looking enough)

Yeah, I'll be getting this one over Sideways.  

 

damn I still wish we were getting Dead End or Wildrider in the movie instead of Sideways, but oh well.

 

That looks MUCH nicer IMO. However, it's a pity they couldn't have remoulded his itty bitty feet too...

 

Hate the head, but colors are a lot better. Bought.
