Sentinel Prime was name dropped in sam's breakdown. Wheelie is going to use that waffle iron he find in the last panel? The quality is bad but maybe that's a new strategy to get me to actually buy the books instead of viewing free pages. The devastator cover for #2 is fantastic. I hope sideswipe survives.
I was at target yesterday and went by the kids books and they had the entire comic adaptation on sale for 12.99 and I flipped thru the whole thing. It really doesnt ruin anything for you except the ending but i had a clue it was going to be the way it was in the end more or less.
He looks like a character in Shitty McFartbutt's magical doo doo extravaganza, with special guest artist Easter Seals poster boy nubbins, the 2 year old that paints with his eyelid.
Yeah, Movie adaptation comics are useually rushed and get stuck with B/C grade artist's. So it's not like this is surprising.
Wow... Sam looks like a muscular stud and Mikaela looks bland... This must be an alternate universe... Sad is the lack of comicbook artists to capture the look of celebs. Back in the 80's and 90's, there were TONS of celebs in comics... various rappers, Shaq, Jay Leno, Ed McMahon, Ronald Reagan, etc, and they were generally good likenesses. Now I realize Shia LeGoof is no Reagan, but still. Even funnier is the fact that Megan Fox is a comicbook female in human form, and they can't draw her likeness?! Nice curves, tiny waist, near-perfect face, and they can't get someone to draw her? Sheesh! Ok, well, lets pretend the artist specializes in robots. Cool. No prob. Let him draw the robot panels, and let someone else draw the panels with people. Not too hard to find someone who can accurately sketch celebs. I see them at the malls all the time!
Yeah, but they probably don't have the legal right to use their likenesses. I think I've heard about that before. Probably the same story with some toys, even.
It strikes me as being a bit amateurish. Everything looks anatomically correct, but everything looks stiff. There's no real personality or depth to the drawings.
