fantastic i was really wanting to get a buster prime but was a little upset by the ebay price

is there any real difference in the Takara jetfire vs the us release?

 

cool deal, I sold my orginal jetfire so I may pick this one up and keep it MISB

 

Is buster prime better than ROTF leader prime?

 

Is is just a matter of one is chrome,the other one is not.

 

I thought it was more than just the chrome on his grill? But better paint apps all around like the white pinstriping on his flames, the two-tone silver-and-energon-orange paint on his sword blades, and silver paint instead of the normal ugly unpainted gray plastic parts of the mold. And the reason they call him Buster Prime is because his two silver gas tanks on his back can be removed and combined together to form his giant Buster Gun, like in the movie.

 

Other than that, the mold is still the same.

 

So which of you has PO this piece from Robotkingdom?

YES!!!! One of my biggest regrets when it comes to Transformers, was selling my Buster Prime. Now I can right that wrong.  

I'll probably spring for this 2 pack and cancel my Striker Optimus preorder.

 

Oh Yeah! Best movie Prime ever made! You won't regret it, and the Jetfire is an added bonus.

Not yet. Still waiting to see if BBTS will offer him since I have a huge PoL sitting there with them and what's one more addition? I never bought anything from Robot Kingdom before so I can't say anything about them. But then, I plan to be in Japan around the December-January time frame and I may just buy the two-pack in person if I see it instead.

 

Guys,usually when you have PO,do they still let you cancel last minute because thought the shops have proceed to order from Takaratomy or Hasbro, if you were to cancel last minute, won't there be any discrepancies?

 

I don't recall the repaint Jetfire having gold on it like that.

 

For the Buster OP giftset of ROTF,the Jetfire do have some gold painted on it compare to normal single pack Jetfire whereby some parts are painted blue.

 

after looking at that picture a little closer it does appear to have lost that dull blue plastic like so many of the movie figures have.

also something that just came to mind, if takara is the japanese version are the sound clips in japanese?

My Buster Prime came from the ROFT 2 pack Asian release and have an english voice clip which is either a recording of Cullen or a damn good impersonation. No idea if Japanese figures use a different clip tbh.
