This Breakaway however, even if he may remain an offscreen character, is still marketed with the ROTF movieverse line. Clearly altmode shape is bastardized and the plastic mold looks very rough imo.

Eh looks OK IMO. The colors are bad and the plastic looks like it could almost be semi translucent. Way to thin there. Plus I really do not like the head IN the cockpit there. Looks silly.

Yeah, I'm not really feeling this guy...the overall design isn't irredeemable, but it's not strong enough to overcome the poor colour scheme. If he's in the film (which I doubt, really), then I might reconsider, but from the evidence here I'll be passing...

 

If it weren't for that horrid neon green he'd be so much better. Like I said before, he looks so sad I feel I'll be suckered into buying this out of pity for him.

 

I think the little guy is cute, actually. He's got that lovable misfit thing going on.

I also love his arm mounted chaingun.

Thing is, the robot mode is quirky and different like a lot of the Revenge of the Fallen stuff. My biggest complaint with the first movie designs was that they were not very memorable, their robot mode silhouettes lacked a certain definition, with a couple of exceptions.

I honestly cannot say this about this guy, Demolishor, Arcee, or even the more conventional designs like Sideswipe. The designs have been given some serious thought. Like I say, I find the way the head forms up really cute and cool. He's a fun looking robot.

 

I´m really digging this Guy so Far. I was not very sure when I saw him the First time but like the Twins he grew on me. I will pick him up when I see him in Stores.

 

It has a better bot mode than the Movie Dreadwing/Overcast does...

I like his head in general, although the eyes would look better as a visor. It's help with that entire 'Masked pilot' look he's got going what with the 'oxygen mask with tubes' thing he has. Also like that he's got a spinning dial so you can rotate the Vulcan.

But the colors. Yee Gods. Teal blue and brownish gold? With neon green deco? Isnt the F-35 supposed to be, you know, STEALTHY?  

 

First they have war visited upon their peaceful forest. Then they are turned into transforming robot planes. Oh when will Hollywood leave the Ewoks alone!?

 

I like the mold, hate the face and colors. Might buy and repaint him.

 

I really like this guy. He looks kind of like an Ewok.
