I'll wait for the Springer repaint, since that's who this was originally supposed to be as far as I know.

I likes him and his chicken legs. Actually, I think I wouldn't like him as much if it wasn't for the legs. Lack of hands is kind of a downer, but I can live with it.

Actually, Springer was going to be an Osprey, similar to Movie1 Incinerator.

True, but if you compare with Legends Springer as well as the Robot Heroes version, there's obviously a design correlation between them all.

Where are his arms? How does he scratch the itchy rust from his arse?

I will definitely be buying Blaze Master! I've been surprised with so many TFM universe figures when I actually have them in hand. I love the color scheme, the alt mode design, and the seemingly cool transformation. To be fair, I do wish I saw digits on his arms (maybe they do act like that in the game/movie but can't be articulated given the Deluxe nature of the toy?), and I wish his feet were larger. But those are minor gripes (if you can call them that) from me. Can't wait to put him next to my TFM Blackout, too!

I love seeing new molds but this one bites. Who thought this color scheme and lack of hands (along with the fact we are getting Grindor as a better heli-former) that this was the way to go.

Is this an aborted Springer toy? Glad he was dropped, Blaze master seems to be an easy PASS.

No... no... they're "original" and "innovative", remember? Stopping a transformation halfway through, so most of them looks like random bits of junk, and then replacing identifiable humanoid characteristics with miscellaneous, poorly proportioned pieces of alt mode is INNOVATIVE. INNOVATIVE.

Just keep saying that, and maybe you'll be brainwashed like half the people here. :)

    Probably the 70's. :D

I agree that Breakaway has problems, but at least he had relatively normal proportions, solid humanoid legs, and normal sized arms that end in actual hands. Just find a way to kitbash a new head on top of the shoulders where it should be, and Breakaway is actually a pretty good design. But I agree that out-of-the-box, he's not so hot.

Quicker (and less durable) maybe... but I don't really think "quieter" is a word in Michael Bay's vocabulary. ;)

Honestly, I'm not big on the chicken legs, but I understand that's part of the Bayformer aesthetic, so I can't really find fault with it's execution in this case. Personally, the only TFs I want chicken legs on would be Laserbeak or Buzzsaw, but I could get over the chicken legs. It's the ARMS (at least I think they're intended to represent arms, sort of) that really kill this design for me. Not a lot of cool posing potential there.

"STAY BACK OR I'LL WAVE MY UNWIELDY PONTOONS AT YOU!!!"

The main reason I'm bothering to post on the topic is because I'm sort of pissed... as the first Dlx class Helicopter we've had in a long time, I was really hoping that this guy would be a good figure. My disappointment is epic.

I think all the people who LOVE this design should go cry in their corners over the money they are indiscriminately wasting on second-rate TF designs. Apparently, they'll buy anything and insist that it's gold. :rolleyes2

Because having different tastes than you means we're brainwashed.

I don't understand your obsession with making all Transformers humanoid, but I'm not going to insult you for it.

Although I agree with you about the arms.
In fact. I think most people agree with you about the arms.

I don't appreciate the insinuations that people who like this figure are "brainwashed" or will "buy anything" or that it's automatically a scond rate design just because it's not to your own personal (and evidently empirical) liking.
