blademaster? more like crapmaster!
I like the lack of robot bits showing in his helicopter mode.
But, ugh, the hands! It's like the designers couldn't be bothered to give him real hands, so they stuck bits of the fuselage on instead and called it a day.
It could be mistransformed, though. *looks at official pictures* Or maybe not.
Anyway, I remember the body from the DS game, which I liked, so I may pick him up.
Well, this guy is very much like a lot of ROTF bots in that he wholly embraces the whole movie aesthetic.
I remember that Helicopter from the first DS game (Except the Channel 7 Helicopter was red... but otherwise the exact same model), and I dig the whole movie aesthetic, so he's very much bought. I also like that he scales nicely to Incinerator and Blackout (One of the few bots who DOES)
Something along the lines of we need to pad out the movie cast, don't worry too much about the engineering.
Try Blaze Master not blademaster.
I wonder if this lil guy is the new DS game news chopper. I loved that thing in the first game. Hope this figure gets a red and white alt repaint to match.
must own it
Cool, definitely one I'll look out for.
I'm Ron Goldundy. You stay classy, Mission City.
for the first deluxe helicopter we've had since, what energon? lol this is not that bad at all!
besides, with the chicken legs being the theme for the jets, i guess it's only right for the chopper to have it too. lol
it's probably a non-movie character anyways.
looks amazing though! in my opinion.
i'll be buying it, for sure
What's with this frequent usage of chicken legs in the Movie/ROTF figures? (eg. Screamer, Dropkick, Stratosphere, Blaze Master...)
Is that the best leg design the designers could have come up with? *sigh*
After 25 years of normal legs, they change it up and now they're out of ideas?
Not a fan of the legs, but it's still an interesting thing.
heh, pretty much the only "Channel 7" I've ever seen where the number logo is not in a circle.
A digitigrade is an animal that stands or walks on its digits, or toes. Digitigrades include walking birds (what many assume to be bird knees are actually ankles), cats, dogs, and most other mammals, but not humans, bears, and a few others (cf. plantigrade, unguligrade). They are generally quicker and move more quietly than other mammals.
hmm with wiki's definition, it kind'a makes it seem more since now, why a race of warriors would choose the chicken legs vs human legs. "quicker" "quieter" comes to mind.
I think I like this little guy
Not all TF's should be big feet stomping brute power bots. I'm also really liking the heli altmode ; no obvious blocky robot parts sticking out.
Cool,might actually buy this one.
Looks neat. Colors are sweet.
