Hideous. Which is too bad, because I really dig the helicopter mode (and the scale). I almost wanted to buy this based on the initial pics...

... but those ridiculous bird legs... AND the monstrous, nearly useless lobster claw arms?? (or should just say "half-fuselages"?). Those are deal-breakers for me.

Honestly... it's like they're going out of their way to produce shitty robot designs now, just to be "different and alien". This guy is like one of those weaker old Go-Bot designs. A bit more detail, but just as awkward.

I think this guy looks really neat. I'm definitely looking forward to getting my hands on this figure.

All the haters can go cry in their little corner, this guy's awesome.

 

Not bad. Looks really similar to his G1 counterpart.

 

It's am much better line of thought than "Hey, let's make a helicopter that turns into a robot where the helicopter tail doesn't transform at all and just sits behind the back all the way to the ground."

Oh Cyclonus, Bulkhead, Blackout.... you could have been so much more... and yet I love your shoosh-shoosh-shoosh.

 

That robot mode so reminds me of a chicken, especially the feet and lack of hands. But he's cute in a way.

I'm diggin the helicopter mode but not so much the 'bot mode.

Otherwise good effort from Hasbro.

 

Funny, I was just thinking of doing that myself. ;3

Anywho, I'm really liking the looks of this 'Copter 'Bot, and the color scheme too. Plus his little chicken legs are adorable. (What can I say? I like the chicken leg look on the Movie Mechs.)

 

I like him! In alt mode, he has one piece of kibble, the little push button that turns his propeller. Even his underside is is almost perfect, he's like a helicopter Alternator. Many people complain about his legs in bot mode, but I like the departure from the regular human leg design. Also, unlike Blackout, Blaze has most of his helicopter parts nicely hidden into his bot mode,unlike the aforementioned" tail dragger". The only real criticism I have with him is his forearms, as I don't know if they end in claws or some kind of cannons. Even this though doesn't kill his look as far as I'm concerned. I would definitely consider him for my collection.  

 

I'm not liking the legs too much, however I do like the alt mode.

I'll have to see how it looks up close before I made a decision.

 

with all the chicken legs going on in the movie verse im can picture the president looking on as the transformers arriving on earth and deciding the best was to keep them busy was to throw a bit chicken feed down and problem solved. besides think of the sunday dinners you could have from things with chicken legs that big! on topic he is alright although im never a fan of a figure hot having hands
