Just because you have good work ethic and are dedicated to your project does not make you NOT a hack and doesn't mean you're nor just in it for the money. You can work very hard, and be dedicated to making it happen, and still have absolutely no actual skill, or be doing it all for the payday.

Shame the deleted/alternate scenes dont have the robots in it. "The Witwickys in Paris"? A scene with just the parents? God, kill me now! I still want this dvd though. Although i have a feeling i might have to commit homicide to get it.

I wonder if the DVD will sell well, considering that Ninjavideo.net has both ROTF and GI JOE: Rise of Cobra as fully streaming, high quality DIVX DVD rips already?

That comment easily applies to a significant portion of society's workforce.

A scifi action movie and half the features are about the pyramids or the military. WTF. FAIL FAIL FAIL.

At this point I'm not even sure if I want to buy this at all. Which is amazing considering how much TF crap I usually will buy.

It'll be of interest to me to check out the extras on the DVD. Always gives you more insight into the work that goes on behind a movie and thus helps you to appreciate it a bit more.

You can see how fast and energized Bay's style of filming is. It seems to me this is both a good and a bad thing. It's great for creating intense, high-energy action scenes, but it means, unfotunately, that Bay may get impatient with and not give much time and deep thought to things that could benefit from consideration, such as tone setting, story, characterization, pacing, etc. Bay is pumping out big movies like an efficient machine, but that means there's not much heart and spirit in them. I guess you can't really blame him though when he working under a limited time constraint. Just my opinioin.

So, no CGI models of the robots, no concept arts? Just audiocommentaries and deleted scenes of the human actors (who were the least interesting in this movie?)

And the easter eggs "Dogs Gone Wild" and "Simmons' big day" somehow make me cringe just by the titles...

I hope the TF designs will make it to the next edition of the movie, after all, these studios will always release at least two more special edition to milk the cashcow dry...

How would they get you t buy the same crappy movie 5 times otherwise?

Don't forget all the toy exclusives / metal tin box / transforming packaging variations.

We could`ve had the Imax Scenes but they became a exclusive :thumbdown
I would`ve been okay with a previs scenes showing there plans for the battles or a comic strip. What about the Xbox360 robot. There was a few more seconds of that in an easter egg in the TF1 release.
